Why would I play a game that forces me into a boring gameplay loop- a gameplay loop that is so boring that people would rather one phase raid bosses than stay online a second longer than they have to? I wont.
Why would I play a game that makes me spend months grinding new gear just to have it taken away from me because Bungie wants to feel better about re-releasing the same content again in a year? No thank you.
Why would I spend a cent on a game from a developer that actively stands in my way when im trying to actually enjoy their sandbox.
Bungie has single-handedly ruined their entire reputation in one generation.
I wont be surprised if Bungie changes the company name before releasing any new IP's.

Won't lie, if you think the gameplay loop is boring then I have some crazy news for you, you'll never like a looter shooter. Because this is the looter shooter gameplay loop. Do stuff, get loot, repeat.
-
yeah, I kinda agree with ya. I'm tired of being bored while playing a entertainment product as that's not why i'm playing it, I'm not here to have boring chore. I'm here to have fun and be engaged with the product. But all that Bungie has done for awhile now is just repeat the same boring gameplay loop and it's just simply not worth it anymore. it's gotten just soo boring to play Destiny 2 for me that i've seriously uninstalled the product from my machine and haven't logged on since December 25, 2020. I'm just done with the boring and stale gameplay loop and as it sates on my profile "It's better to do something you find fun then to be stuck doing something you'd find boring" and Destiny 2 is just that, boring. if they wanted to end Destiny 2 then fine, do it. But I doubt there next game will be any different then what we've seen occur here. either way, that's just my final two cents on this product.

1 phasing raid bosses has nothing to do with whether a gameplay loop is fun or not. People do it because they can, and because it’s typically quite easy to. Think of all the wack ass exploits/glitches people did back in D1. Pulling the plug on Crota, pushing Atheon off the ledge, etc. and these are raids that people constantly kiss the asses of, mind you.

I think Bungie is purposely trying to end Destiny so they can spend resources elsewhere

Bungie is now a trash company with a grabage game! Done with their lies and bullcrap!!

1 new activity on 3 locations which is basically the same 1 new strike which will be released later. This is the lightest season of content ever, in fact its beyond light

4 RepliesYour title is an understatement. The gunplay, the artwork, and the new light system is the only thing keeping this game alive. Everything else in this game has been half-backed, uninspiring work. They chased off so many key devs and even removed the only one that could have at least done something with the game. Destiny has only become an fps with a compnay just winging the entire game making things up as they go along that has no consistency at all. They can't even make up their mind of what they want to do with the game or where to even go with it. Creating a game is one thing and they do a good job, but to manage one is a whole different story and it shows throughout the entire game that they don't know how to. We get it Bunny, you like to make things look good, but looks aren't everything.

2 RepliesYeah this game sucks

55 RepliesWhy would you come to an online forum to trash-talk a game you haven't played in 9 months?? Nothing better to do?

16 RepliesBungie is only an old good name sticked to the brand new Chinese mobile game company Bungwei.

Bungie is just draining this corpse for whatever they can get out of it before it dies. New players are all they have to work with, because the old player base is pretty much been sunset. As for the creativity? Yea, that kind of went the way of the story archs in this game. Grand plans but utter and complete disappointment at the end. Bungie will play this for another year or so and then it will get vaulted for a while. Maybe in 5 or so years it will get a fresh reboot. But you will never see a proper ending for anything in this game.

Bounties, more bounties on top of bounties, bounties everywhere,

you don't have to play, go take a break imo this is just some pointless -blam!-

1 ReplyAfter playing some other old games recently (Diablo 3 Borderlands 2 & 3), I found that these games make you feel more powerful as you progress. This is not the case with Destiny. Do you think this is why the game feels bland to some? I'm not sure if the other games not having PVP as a big part of the games has to do with this, but for some reason Destiny doesn't give me the good feeling that it used to. This may also have something to do with most of the people that I played Destiny with for years have moved on. Maybe the game has just run its coarse!

7 RepliesEdited by Razzupaltuff: 2/9/2021 4:48:05 PMIf you don't like the game, why don't you stop playing it and spend your money on something more enjoyable for you? I have been very, *very* critical towards Destiny and Bungie in the past, but in my opinion, Destiny has taken a turn for the better. A lot of polish and thought seem to have gone at least into the PvE part of the game, which by many players was felt to be the step child of Bungie, with PvP being preferred to the extent of adjusting weapons for PvP and in the process ruining them for PvE. Bungie has introduced a lot of new elements in the game over the course of the last 12 to 18 months, be it the imo very good champion mechanic, spoils of war allowing you to re-roll raid guns and acquire exotic weapons from vaulted raids, legendary and master difficulty lost sectors with special incentives for soloing them (I remember solo PvE players complaining about Destiny not offering any challenging content for their kind of player). Destiny still needs improvement, but the way Destiny 2 is developing in a direction Destiny 1 was pointing to, and the iterative fusing of both Destiny worlds is making me enjoy playing it. Sun setting has made me try new loadouts, and I am playing and enjoying very different loadouts compared to just a few months ago. I do enjoy the sandbox and the plethora of useful and differently feeling new guns I am having in my vault. That's why I do not care all that much about reskins, or re-issuing old guns with new perks. There have a lot of good new perks been introduced to the game, and e.g. the Forsaken guns will get a nice upgrade with these. I also enjoy the grind because I enjoy the gameplay of Destiny. That's what makes me bear the grind. Just don't expect Destiny 2 to be your digital paradise, the one game to rule them all, the final meaning of your existence - because that is what some players seem to expect it to be: Deep satisfaction for their lives they cannot find otherwise (which is a clear sign that they should be looking for it at another place than a computer game).

3 RepliesI get the frustration. I hate sunsetting personally and have yet to find the reasons it happened to be... anywhere close. The game has had many many rough patches(or stretches) but again. This is in fact just a game, not a relationship. Come and go as you please, and don’t delete your characters because that response is stupid. Give good feedback, ignore and accept opinions that come your way. Again, D2 is not a relationship, at the end of your life or when you’re asleep at night it won’t care a single second about you.

2 RepliesSO FAR THIS IS LITERALLY THE SAME CONTENT over and over and over and over.. this is really putting me to sleep now.. let down so far..
-
I was very disappointed with "Season of the Chosen" when I logged on. Season of the Chosen's initial launch provides more content for FREE TO PLAY players then season pass holders/buyers. Just one new activity(battle grounds) that uses current in-game locations/areas & a stasis fragment. I would not advise any one to buy it until atleast another 2 months have passed, maybe even skip this season entirely.

2 RepliesI had to remove both anthem and the Division two off all to apply the 12.983 GB update so much for vaulting by adding more content its going to get more bigger come witch queen and lightfall combined

Edited by I HATE THE PORTAL: 2/10/2021 2:54:37 AMThey don't have that Activision $$$. This is a poor mans grind now!! F bungie Kill enemy's ..reach the objective ..kill boss This is getting stupid and old

D2 has run its course. Sure the gunplay, Artwork is nice. What's not is running the Hamster wheel over and over. Our guardians get weaker and weaker every turn. It's best to move on when you're not pleased with the direction this game is going. Lazy development, monetize garbage. Ya keep it.

Only thing i like is the new bow
