Under used doesn't mean bad
There is plenty of Exotics in D2 that fall to the way side.
It kills me when I see people say
*Darci bad*
*Cold Touch useless* (Cold Heart) I'll leave the typo 😛
*Symmetry sucks*
*Prospector can't DPS*
Just because your favorite YouTuber doesn't wank off to it doesn't make it bad.

Seeing how this week the ever verse had the new ornament for lion rampant I have been using them a lot and they fall into this category. Top tier exotic to pair with last word or any hand cannon and sidearms and autos. They turn your titan into a floaty warlock with awesome in air hip fire accuracy. The amount of in air crits you can land with these is crazy. Plus this ornament is fücking awesome looking.

1 ReplyNah coldheart truly isnt a good option. Wich is sad because it is my favourite gun after the last word. But the lack of mods for it makes it not worth using as you run out of ammo way too quickly. And the total dmg ammount of your reserves is kinda bad tbh... For a special weapon. They should bring it back to primary slot it worker better And so does Prometheus lens. Only divinity should stay special ammo

Then why aren’t they used more? Most players use what is “best” (easiest to use, highest damage, etc.). Weapon usage is driven by this mentality, so the things that are used more are generally more powerful than things that are used less, or else they would be used more.

Darci could definitely use a buff though. I think giving it more damage the farther away the target is has some potential, kind of like full court on a sniper

3 RepliesDarci DOES suck and cold heart IS useless. They don’t have a place if there isn’t anything they perform well. Darci’s only role is DPS and its beaten by the only other exotic heavy sniper. Cold heart is also only for single target DPS and slug shotguns strip and spank it. Symm has its place as a unique PvP option and prospector is actually an extremely good burst option so they have their places. Most weapons are underused BECAUSE they suck.

Darci does less damage than xeno but requires a lot more effort to get maximum damage. Cold heart is useless because why would I use a special weapon for damage outside of DSC? I need that special ammo for taking down champs, cold heart isn't good at that. Symmetry sucks big time, using an exotic slot for a mediocre scout rifle isn't very good. Champion mods already exist, I'd rather have a good exotic heavy. Prospector, again, xeno still beats it and xeno can't kill me.

Completely agree. Unfortunately, now days if it’s not top of the heap it’s considered not worth it or bad.

Prospector slaps! I used that for my first DSC run. Fusions are also pretty good. A lot of people dismiss them as trash, buy they have benefits over snipers and shotguns.

1 ReplyPeople used Darci to 1 phase the SOTP boss,but Snipers have been heavily nerfed in PvE so no one uses them anymore,even Whisper has become a vault ornament Symmetry is not in a good place ,the alt fire mode needs to keep its buff longer to be effective,I love scouts but I just never run into a situation where Sym would be the best option

Honestly, the only thing i ever done with Symmetry is casually take the lives of AFK Players in PvE. Since Explosive Payload Night Watch exist for Overloads, it frees up my Exotic Slot for something else.

Gegil You make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

2 RepliesSorry, but Darci is ACTUALLY bad. No reason to use it over more reliable heavy exotics. It needs an update like what they did with the Aeons. Tarrabah also needs a rework so that it keeps its charge when holstered.
