500 Internal Server Error whenever authorizing bungie.net with steam credentials

Whenever I try to log in on bungie.net or through DIM with steam credentials I get a 500 internal server error that says there is an issue on Bungie's side. I have tried multiple different browsers including Microsoft Edge, I've cleared cache and cookies, tried incognito mode, used mobile, given my login information to a friend to have him try it, and even tried a vpn to make my location be from several other continents and the problem is the same. This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. It was "solved" previously by using my battle.net credentials right after the steam migration, but that is not an option anymore. I was only able to post this here by creating a dummy stadia account to use those credentials to log in. Please help! Attached is a google drive link to the screenshot of the error.
