I am 339,and have gotten zero new ornaments,I am after the riven ornament for skull ,but no luck -
Vanilla destiny 2 dismantling any eververse items you get 200 to 500 bright dust and every eververse item would be sold for a certain amount of bright dust making it where you could buy any item you never got. Blame yourself and everyone who constantly complained about eververse making it where bungie changed it from what it was. Now you get nothing for dismantling eververse items and if you really want anything you have to buy silver from the micros. Not really trying to blame you personally because I don’t know if you were part of remove eververse crap. But my statement still stands. Keep miscellaneous crap out of loot pool and reward pools. Destiny 2 in reality is basically destiny 1.5. But if that crap finds its way back into the loot pool or reward pool. Then the game will truly just be destiny 1.5.

1 ReplyI'm happy if I get a projection or anything I don't already have. What pisses me off is getting a sparrow, ghost or shader that I own when there are still items to be unlocked in those collections. This happens all the time. Trash engrams is right. They should change them so they look like turds, not shiny diamonds.

Bright Engrams are literally useless now. Remember getting 1 for every level up after hitting the cap? Remember getting bright dust for dismantling the items from those bright engrans? This was an early indication of things that came.

You know, with such a glut of items in the cash-shop now, it would behoove them to re-implement the duplicate protection. I mean, it’s not like you can really even buy that stuff anyway and it would def incentivize engram grinding to know you’re getting something you don’t have. There’s already seasonal cap anyway to protect silver purchases. Doesn’t make much sense to NOT have it

4 Replieswhile i agree wholeheartedly you are definitely thinking too highly of bungie's design goals the goal is to put players into a feedback loop that builds and encourages lootbox gambling addiction, which players have varying levels of genetic weakness to, because people will keep chasing the reward despite extremely low success rates if you ever think about it in the big picture, there isn't a single other reason to use lootboxes in a game design it is predatory by design
