I know the chances of it happening are next to none, for a variety of reasons, primarily it taking more work and imagination than Bungie is willing to put into making it but, that said I like the idea of Fallen with those leaving House of Salvation plus House of Light already having been a thing for quite some time now. That Fallen could be added in as a fourth playable race.
They don't even have to be outright Guardians for it to work, the Fallen gimmick could very well be they use, as we have seen with Aremis and even Ghaul, technology to gain minor access to the space magic, that our Guardians enjoy freely and where that does not work, just use gadgets.
It is a fever dream, a nice one though even if it never comes to fruition outside of fan stuff.

But saladin clearly states that he will not allow a fallen to fight in Iron Banner.

If they ever make a Destiny 3 the Eliksni should be the main characters, and it should start on Riis. It’d be an interesting story to see the fallen flee their home world and stumble upon humanity. If the fallen do become playable, we should start as dregs, and as we rank up become vandals or captains.

Edited by Ferus Lux: 1/28/2021 12:11:48 AMOnly way I can see it happening at this point is in a distant future reboot of Destiny where the Eliksni have assimilated into Humanity with Mithrax being the longest surviving member and Hunter Vanguard. Well, that's my wet dream anyway.

11 RepliesI still think it'll be a nice touch to see how we could have special traits built into our Guardians base race, like; Human = +10 Agility Exo = +10 Strength Awoken = +10 Discipline Fallen +10 Resilience.

4 RepliesHow about make all the races playable. I just want to shoot a boomer

I've been saying this for a long time but I would have them be Guardians. It would be a cool idea.

2 RepliesEdited by ΞsnΛχΞ: 1/27/2021 8:40:23 PMI wanna be Variks. Damn I would play all of their recycled content and not complain if I could play as him. The only problem is: How do you work all those arms with a controller? Variks is down one arm though so not that bad, I guess.

1 ReplyThe only thing fallen around here is the community's interest in playing

I’m going to have to agree with this post, I can’t be a true manslave to variks unless I get to be in his skin! 🤣

7 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 1/27/2021 7:55:37 PMExos with masks of bakris are closer to fallen then atraks is. Mainly because its her skin and flesh that cover it.

So many troll comments. A post like this would get shredded on Reddit. You’d be at a negative 8K. And they’d report you to the admins for low quality post.

Honestly it would be more interesting as a class/race for a 4th character. You could have a void servitor super where you essentially amp your health and damage with a sunsinger like effect, an arc super where you can teleport long distances and throwing blades, a solar super where you throw a fireball that spreads flames, and a stasis super where you summon large slowing fields that heal you when you stand in them and eventually detonate.

Nope , would much rather shoot them in da face........

Don’t you mean Eliksni!!!!, it’s 2021 we are beyond such hate speech Seriously though, who wouldn’t want to play has a Eliksni Captain ,teleporting and shotgunning everyone ,Crucible would be worse than stasis lol -
1 ReplyProblem is I don't think the fallen have solved the whole death and resurrection thing unless you count the scorn. While I think we may end up with fallen guardians as NPC's I don't think it would work well as a playable race unless you want to just be a dreg. Any other class of fallen would end up with two to three times as much work when designing and implementing armor, unless you were suggesting it as a class and not race (as in fallen, Titan, warlock, hunter instead of fallen, exo, human, awoken)

The thought of playing as an overload captain is intriguing.
-
3 Repliesyes. equip 4 side arms at one time.

Its coming, trust me. Bungie loves cheap ideas that will keep the game going. And they don’t mind taking ideas from the forums, the whole idea of the cabal attacking the last city came from these forums.
-
This would take effort, and bungle isn't set up to put any more effort into this game
-
4 RepliesIt our guardians are light bearers, and the fallen aren’t anymore. So it wouldn’t even work lore-wise

A beautiful, beautiful dream... Im right there with you

Them line rifles tho.....

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 1/27/2021 6:09:30 PMAnd Cabal! I so want to be a colossus! How about a pvp mode where titans become colossus, hunters become psion flayers, and warlocks become hive witches! Now that would be a good Halloween event! Enough of the infinite forest nonsense.
