dear community and mods,
I'm 35 years old and like to play Destiny 2, on January 6th I played a few rounds of gambit with my clan,
shortly afterwards I was kicked out of the game and this message came out.
https://prnt.sc/xnx31f
first and foremost i thought it was a mistake and waited a day. But when Steam wrote me a day later that
I had been banned from Destiny 2, I opened a ticket at Bungie.
After 3 days I replied to my email again, as I have not received an answer yet.
It is now January 26th and I have written 5 e-mails without a reply.
I've never had a cheat or program on my PC that helps me, and if you see my statistics you can tell pretty quickly that I'm not the best player.
My last hope is now here in the forum, before I will repeat my money that I have spent on DLCs under civil law.
I hope that it was just a mistake and that you apologize to me and release my account again.
i put a lot of time into my account and i actually really like the game.
At the moment I can't even make a request anymore, this message comes up.
https://prnt.sc/xnxi2l
I know how annoying cheaters are in games, but banning people who haven't done anything is the wrong way.
Greetings
Markus

5 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp6: 1/26/2021 3:42:56 PMPer the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article, a response is not guaranteed. If you have received no response after several business days, you can assume that Bungie has denied your appeal and the ban/restriction has been upheld.

Why can't we see your game history?

6 RepliesI've been doing a lot of research after my own ban. I dont advise you send in multiple appeals, as it would put more restrictions on your account. Also dont know if you read the small text on the email you received, but it even states in there that your first appeal isnt guaranteed to be read in the first place. I feel that everyone saying "Bungie looked at your appeal and have not overturned it if you haven't heard from them in a few buisness days" have not considered the possibility that appeals are even read at all. That is just my opinion on it, feel free to disagree. I have put all of my Silver purchases together and they come out at nearly $3k in purchases. That's not including the game itself, its DLC's, and store merchandise. I feel that after investing this amount of money in the game and franchise I should be able to get into contact with someone over an accident that happened once. To quote something Cozmo said on Reddit at one point;
Players are also being banned for repeatedly running cheat tools while playing Destiny 2.
Good luck trying to get into contact with anyone at Bungie.

Wow, now a moderator marks an answer that everyone can read on the page anyway without checking the matter. That's what I call support, thank you for nothing @kellogs ! Greeting Markus

1 ReplyI am also in this situation. I have submitted multiple appeals, about one per month, and have heard nothing.

1 ReplyHang in there buddy...unfortunately there’s nothing else you can do about it.they won’t respond and don’t care about much time and money you’ve spent on this game.I’ve been there,i had an account with 1000+ hours of playtime and had about 8 triumph seals and got banned for which i believe because of an active trainer for other game that i forgot to disable before launching d2...if you really love playing this game then just create a new acc and start over

2 RepliesYeh dog they got me on this account, I had net limiter running in the background. That's the only thing I can think of. I won't be giving them anymore money, considering how much silver I spent. I will just become a form troll.
-
2 RepliesJust accept your ban and move on. There's two choices. Stop playing or create a new account.
-
3 RepliesDo you share your account?
-
1 ReplyWell, there's nothing you can do to unban your account. It's up to Bungie. Just make a new one and play in the meantime.

3 RepliesTrust me, if people were banned for no reason, you would know.

11 RepliesIt's strongly advised against sending multiple requests. If you have heard nothing from Bungie at this juncture it means that your ban is confirmed.
