I checked my account settings today and found that I have a PlayStation account that is linked, I don't recognize it.
It has no progress, no character, no DLC, and a weird name that you can tell it's generated.
I only play on Steam and does not have any PlayStation account.
Is there any way I can unlink that account?
I'm afraid someone can use the cross-save function to wipe my main account and access my privacy settings.

Hey there, To unlink the account, you would need to be able to sign in and authenticate it. Bungie will not unlink or authenticate accounts for you due to security reasons. You'll need to get in touch with Playstation Support and get them to help you gain access to the account or help you unlink it. Bungie will not do so for you. If you believe someone has gained access to your account without permission, I'd suggest following the precautions in the Account Security Guide to help prevent further actions from being taken.

9 RepliesIn order to unlink an account, you must be able to authenticate it, which means you must be able to log into it. Bungie cannot forcibly de-link it. I would suggest contacting the platform concerning recovering the PSN account. This will save you a lot of trouble and let you keep your current Bungie.net profile. If you are unable to gain access to your PSN account, then you will not be able to unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile. If you're trying to set up cross-save, then your only option will be to create a new Bungie.net profile and then unlink/relink the accounts you actually want to that new Bungie.net profile. Just keep in mind that if you go with the new Bungie.net profile, you will lose access to the code-granted bonuses you've redeemed on Bungie.net because those are tied to your current Bungie.net profile. You can see what you'll lose here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/Codes
