I returned to the game for the first time since the beginning of Shadow keep this week and I have been trying to decide which character I wanted to main. So I've been playing a little bit on each character and then switching to see how each new subclass feels. - Titan feels like a hectic mess. I pop the super and I just start running around like I have my head cut off it feels like. With purple crystals clouding my screen wherever I go. It feels like a more annoying version of striker Titan basically. The amount of things that just pop up on my screen whenever I use it is just downright distracting. And on more than a couple occasions it's made it hard for me to find the next person to kill because I've got like seven crystals hogging the screen. - Warlock feels less messy, but as a long time warlock player it just feels like a more tedious version of Nova Warp. I go over here I go over there and I explode but I have the added chore of having to prime all of my explosions by shooting crystals at people. Also and this is purely just a personal complaint but the fact that it's r2 to fire the crystals and not the right analog stick keeps messing me up really bad. Because the Warlock melee is basically the same thing and it's on the analog stick. So my brain keeps telling me to press the stick in order to fire the crystals. And don't get me wrong overall I think all of the stasis subclasses are a bit of a laugh, but those two in particular just feel really weird to me. Meanwhile the Hunter subclass feels pretty good. It reminds me of my Nova bomb except just better in pretty much every single way. It feels like it's a well put together class. But the other two just feel like slightly tweaked rip offs of some classes that I already have. And to be honest the new subclasses aren't even the most fun things I've used since I came back. The new six shooter buff to gunslinger where you keep getting bullets as long as you kill things is just a stupid amount of fun. Using golden gun like the last word is just immeasurably fun to me. Is this all in my head and because I'm just new to the subclasses or are they really just kind of weird and take some getting used to?
