A little bit ago (maybe about a week), I reset my valor rank points. At the same time, I was working on the Light Reforged Quest - the step where you need to participate in 2 Glory matches and earn 700 valor rank points. At the time of reset, I was 0/2 on glory matches and over half way on the 700 valor points. After the reset, my valor points dropped to 0 and have stayed at 0 in spite of the fact that I have played (and won some) in crucible. Despite playing my one glory match and 1 to 3 elimination matches after the reset, my valor points are still showing as 0 in this quest. Just now I checked the quest in the Destiny 2 companion app and it shows my progress as being: "-999,402/700". UPDATE: Just found people complaining about the same bug on reddit. The posts start in November and it is still happening now so I'm guessing I'm just out of luck. So... if you're reading this and you have quests that depend on valor points, don't reset until you're done with the quest.
