I wanted a rangefinder one and got it first time. It’s the exact roll as the standard Hawkmoon but with rangefinder. It’s a good start but I’d like hammerforged or the barrel that gives +15 range.

I can tell you what I'm hoping for (hammerforged/smallbore/corkscrew, opening shot/killing wind/rangefinder, +stability grip) my current hawk is close but better on pc (which i don't play on)

I personally think the best perks are either Opening Shot or Surplus as they are generally good all the time. Killing Wind/Rangefinder I don’t feel are super necessary as it’s exotic perk gives you extra range anyway. Would rather have perks that help land headshots on the first place to gain stacks easier

I wanted either rangefinder or opening shot, but with my luck was expecting like hip fire grip and moving target or something like that. Actually got super lucky. Got rangefinder and opening shot lol. still can't decide which I like more

I got two with Killing wind, one with near max stability and the other with near max handling. A friend of mine got one with polygonal rifling, surplus and heavy grip. "When you get your Paracausal stacks with the catalyst, it's basically a 180 handcannon. No recoil whatsoever." (What he said)

Extended barrel, killing wind and heavy grip makes the thing have hardly any recoil and works well.

Yeah mine has Corkscrew Rifling, Alloy Mag, Surplus and Combat Grip with MW catalyst. It's deadly accurate and I can't aim for shit!! Don't know why, but it very rarely misses and gets 97000+ paracausal shot bonus as well. Out of the 5 I have had this one is the best by far. (For Me)

I've had a similar experience. My very first drop was Smallbore, Killing Wind and Smooth Grip. After looking at the whole perk pool on D2 Gunsmith, I'm personally very satisfied with it.
