PS5 Error Code CE-108255-1

Game froze in the middle of a nightfall, screen flashed, came up with Something went wrong with this game or App. Error Code: CE-108255-1. Rebooted the system, game freezes at the Destiny 2 Logo every time. Reached out to PlayStation, they had me change system settings, Uninstall game, rebuild database, reinstall, this did not fix it. They had me factory reset my console, this did not fix it. They then had me Reinstall my Software(Option 7 in safe mode Menu) This also, did not fix it. PlayStation has told me to reach out to Bungie, so here we are. Any thoughts, tips, tricks. Or am I going to take my new Shiny Eyes of Tomorrow to Playstations face?   • I have exactly the same issue. I can only run D2 if I do a full factory reset each time I want to play it. I sent it back for repair and it made no difference.

  • PS5 has alot of issues that fixes may take awhile do you have an external hard drive? delete destiny on your PS5 try installing the PS4 version on your external hard drive and see if to works normal

  • Hello. Bungie does not handle Sony error codes. You’ll need to keep trying with PlayStation Support regarding your issue.
