I'm a new user and am trying to get setup with bungie.net. I've authenticated my XBox live account with Bungie, and that seems to be working ok. But when I login to Bungie.net, none of my characters appear. When I goto Cross Save, it sees my authenticated XBox Live account, however there are no characters, and it says "this xbox live account does not have any characters". How do I get my (3) characters to appear in Bungie.net?

More: I’ve poured through the settings on both the XBox itself and on the XBox Live account looking to see if there was something I’m supposed to do. Bungie.net and the XBox Live account are successfully authenticated with each other, but I can’t find anything specific to do to “synch characters”. I also don’t see any specific settings when I’m in the game.

Edited by o FishBulb o: 1/20/2021 6:58:28 PMI’m not sure if it makes a difference, but in the spirit of troubleshooting I’ll say that when I first started playing Destiny 2 (edit: or so I thought) a few weeks ago I didn’t have a subscription to XBox Live Gold. (I’ve never been a multiplayer guy, so I never bothered with subscribing). I only subscribed to the XBox Live service this weekend when I discovered that it was necessary to synch with bungie.net. So now I’ve currently got an active 12-mos subscription to XBox Live Gold.

13 RepliesHi there. This Xbox account does not appear to have any Destiny 2 characters. Destiny 1 characters are no longer shown on your Bungie profile, so if you've yet to make any characters on Destiny 2, it will reflect that on the site. Cross Save is a feature that allows you to access your Destiny 2 characters and progress on multiple platforms, not for migrating your Destiny 1 characters—that is an automatic process that happens upon logging into the same account on the same platform that you played Destiny 1 on, as long as your characters qualified prior to August 2017.
