I can’t even start up the game. It is bringing me to an infinite loading screen saying downloading the update file. Is anyone else having this problem. Help please

You may want to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear your console cache[/url] and then try again. Do you have the PS4 version downloaded, too? You may need to uninstall that version on your PS5.

1 ReplySame here. Try to load the game and a screen pops up with "Downloading the update file..." and a progress bar underneath that says "Calculating remaining time..." but nothing happens. If I try to update from the Home screen an error message pops up saying "Something went wrong." Code is CE-107938-8. Help!

Ive had the same issue since i got my ps5 on day 1 hotfixes or updates for D2 just dont download and ive had to reinstall the game multiple times. For someone who spends a ton of time at work and just wants to play but i have to wait 7 hours each patch is gettin ridiculous either sony needs to fix it on their end or on bungies end and i get tons of people are working from home but I've had the console for 2 months come on .

same issue, haven't had any luck with restarting ps5. it says something went wrong CE-107938-8 when I click check for update. if I try to open destiny it goes to the download screen but nothing happens it doesn't start.

I had the same issue in a different sense. I decided to try and re-download the entire game and hope that fixes it. Going to take awhile unfortunately which sucks.
