let’s settle this, shall we? who do you think should take over as hunter vanguard? i think it should be shiro-4. 1. he’s experienced 2. the vanguard would stay with one of each type: human, awoken, exo. 3. i read some shiro lore on the ishtar collective a few days ago and it said cayde was shiro’s mentor. it only makes sense for an apprentice to take over their mentor’s job, right? 4. i really wanna see him return and his character be fleshed out more. plus, he’s a bit on the serious side so... good for leadership probably! 5. the vanguard dare... i see it as a “jon snow” situation. meaning, uldren killed cayde but then we killed uldren. so technically, if uldren had claim to hunter vanguard, we took that claim away from him when we killed him. like jon snow in game of thrones (and if you haven’t watched that show, spoilers!) he was part of the “night’s watch” which you could only get out of if you died. well, he got stabbed and died. then brought back to life. and when everyone was like “nooo jon don’t go!” he was like “hey, my watch has ended. cuz ya know, i died.” it’s the same with crow imo. he died. he’s a new man. he no longer has claim to the hunter vanguard seat. plus, trading spider’s enforcer for hunter vanguard kinda feels like trading one prison for another. he now has his freedom, so he deserves to be free!
