Nerf arbalest on console
The aim assist for the weapon is way to good the fact that I just need to aim above the waist to get a headshot is a bit op.

I absolutely love it when people like you cry about the 52nd most used gun in destiny while crutching Ace of Spades and Gnawing Hunger. Both btw have a higher headshot kill % 5 than Arbalest.

22 RepliesYou want to nerf a gun that has like 2% usage in PvP and shotguns and hand canons have over 10% usage. That means like 98% of players in PvP use shotguns and hand canons. I’d say shotguns and hand canons need a giant nerf. Where 120’s are now is where scout rifles should be and your complaining because some guy that has more skill than you with Arbalist so it should be nerfed? Get outta here!

I think all linear fusions need a charge time buff to compete with snipers

2 RepliesThe problem with it is that the whole point of a linear fusion is the trade off. Charge time in exchange for a big hit box. Take that away and it is a complete waste of a weapon slot. Why would anyone use it over a regular sniper? It is strong as hell, no doubt but can be outplayed by map awareness and positioning. I'd say all it needs is prevention from double stacking ammo scavenger.

The simple nerf is to just put it in the heavy slot where it belongs like every other linear fusion rifle.

They already did. On it's own the aim assist is average, but the linear fusion targeting mod did get a buff which puts it over the top. Also it has an aim assist range of 30-40 meters. Shots further than that rely on skill.

Some youtuber already made a video about it but I also point out like I have before is the fact the recoil pushes it up. That's why body's can turn into head shots, it's the same thing sniper use to do when flinching them.

Change the flinch on the thing and make the damage that of an adaptive sniper so it needs damage boosters to OHK supers

Yes it's amusing they had Xur sell Arbalest the gun that on gamepad gets automatic headshots to be combined with the stasis yoink out of cover grenades (duskfield). Seems totally balanced ...
