Bungie needs to address cheating in Destiny 2 on PC. More and more frequently I'm seeing cheaters in Destiny 2 and they're becoming more brazen. Please enact some anti-cheating technology. It was great that Bungie went after Perfect Aim with legal action, however, that isn't enough. We need anti-cheat detections and automated bans to protect the game.

Just watched THAT YouTube vid, it's crazy how they just don't care if they get caught
-
No such thing here, obviously. Have at it guardian. If it is not eververse related Bungie does not care.
-
They badly need its. It’s absolutely ridiculous a triple A game can’t afford a third party anti cheat. Trials of the Hackers on PC.

1 ReplyThey do have one, as such. Check lucky10p vids on YouTube. That's unequivocal proof that they do employ some form of anti cheat.
-
1 ReplyBungie actively protects cheaters by enforcing this insane rule against naming and shaming. They will never do anything that harms cheaters.

Bungle needs to stop using 2008ish Halo Era Peer to Peer Networking (which exposes our IP Address to anyone in the game) and get Regional Dedicated Host Servers. if they had Dedicated servers our IP address wouldn't be exposed and thing like Throttling, DOS or other IP crap wouldn't be possible. Also, it makes its it easy for Bungle to monitor Connection Quality and then determine if people are Lag Switching or doing other IP things.

13 Replies1. All this has been covered in past TWaB newsletters and Twiiter posts. 2. Tell all those who post on the #Help forum kicking off about been banned that Bungie is doing nothing. 3. Automated bans are a joke. They fail and ban people for no reason be it a fault thinking "Microsoft Office" is a cheat program or taking reports from other players at face value (yes sad people report others for stupid reasons such as not liking there loadout or just losing a match to them). Bungie is fair by insisting on real eyes look at what is going on before issuing punishment.

It does, its just garbage and does absolutely nothing when they can just create another account for free

1 ReplyEdited by natedawg1207: 1/19/2021 1:40:31 AMI heard that instead of making an active anti-cheat, Bungie is going to sue a single company that makes cheats. Not that stopping that company would be bad, BUT IT WONT FIX THE PROBLEM. Edit: a reply got met with ‘ninja justice’ because they said something about anti-cheats. What a joke.
