Are cheaters on console possible?
I played trials this weekend and someone had 97% headshot accuracy on his sniper on trials report. I also matched someone with 95%.. Any thoughts on this?

Yes it is possible, but more than likely you are facing people on MnK on console.

Sort of? Cheats on consoles in more recent times are just so much more trouble than they're worth, honestly. On ps3, you had to directly edit save data for certain games, otherwise you were stuck in the normal version of it. On ps4, i've not seen or heard of anything other than the typical mouse/keyboard set up, but i'm sure if you went looking you'd find some shady stuff.

Last I remember a lot of cheating happened around the time of Curse of Osiris, its why I left the first time, Yes cheats and hacks (hacked websites that alter the game) do exist on console. Most of it is DDOS, lag switch or hacked controllers, but their are rare expensive hack sites people subscribe too that let them alter and exploit the game. Cheating isn't as common as it used to be but be aware that it does exist.

2 RepliesVery rare but not impossible. Remember clay is clutch the infamous cheater from way back? There are ways to force packet loss via network manipulation, modded cobtrollers, modded input hacks that boost aim assist so yeah I wouldn't rule it out but very rare

Yes, especially in gambit. I saw many players flying in air when I was Intruder, then this shit came to the us, and nobody saw how he shoot and kill teammates.

In my opinion and from what I see in pvp , when I play 5-10 games once at 3 months , yes there a cheaters, using modded controllers , cronus max etc. I see people with very very high accuracy which is impossible, anyway this games right now is 🗑️.

The easiest thing cheaters do is lag switching. From what many players with programming backgrounds have told me it’s not too difficult to pull off with a Peer to Peer system.

5 RepliesHacks for the console itself are extremely rare, you’ll nearly never play against them. Hacked Controllers though 100% exist and is more then likely what he’s using. Most auto correct the recoil and can even bypass the RoF on some guns. I remember seeing clips of people using the Mida and shooting it like an Auto rifle

Issue with report and sniper accuracy is if you miss it dosent record it at all Only records body vs head shot

I wouldn't say so. I have a 99% headshot on my supremacy with 300 kills.

The recent cheating software Bungie is sueing does work on ps4 and xbox. But theirs another website which you can use on console also.

Its possible, but not impossible, just extremely rare to find that type of stuff. Usually for console I hear its like Dosing and stuff with network.
