Master lost sector exotic drop rate
I don’t have solid numbers or anything but I just spent the day doing 17 master lost sector runs (11 platinum champion rewards, 5 flawless) and got zero exotics to drop. If this is my experience - and I’ve seen plenty others with the same issue - what’s to keep me from quitting out of pure frustration? There’s no point in playing a game that won’t change because the development studio runs out of a garage and listens to no one. I really want to enjoy playing Destiny but at a certain point the absolute waste of space that is Bungie really deters me and thousands of others from doing so

Still complete -blam!-. I'm not at 10 completions with 0 exotics and every completion but 2 I've gotten enhancement cores which are supposed to be rare.bungie -blam!- up locking the nee exotics behind solo master/legendary lost sectors forcing people to do only these for the new gear. Their drop rate is beyond garbage. After the bullshit stasis drove away a huge chunk of people this is pushing even more people away. I'm remembering why I stopped playing a year ago and I'm heavily leaning toward this being done with destiny all together.

I played 5 total legendary lost sectors across 2 characters and got both the new exotics. Then I run the master lost sector 6 times and don't get a single drop.

Two weeks ago I did platinum and flawless runs until I got my exotic - took 23 runs...

1 ReplyI don’t know if you were killing all the champions but it DOES increase the drop rates. I personally think the 1280 aren’t worth doing and just todo the 1250’s

I had better luck with legendary, the first run on each character got the new exotic ,with pretty high stat rolls The only new exotic I haven’t got yet is the hunter arms,but they are trash so I will get them whenever

Easier version with lower drop rate > harder version with slightly higher drop rate

What is strange to me, are the 1280 sectors. It says the exotics are common, but I ran one last week over 20 times without getting an exotic. Ran another a few weeks ago with the same result. Been seeing it on the 1250 sectors recently as well. Just can not get an exotic to drop anymore.

I just finished running it for 2 hours, finished about 7 runs. I got one enhancement core, and zero exotics. Too bad, I really wanted transversive :(

Don’t do the master version. I got all of my gear on the 1250 lost sectors. My hunter helmet dropped on my first go. The rest of the exotics for all of my characters dropped in 1 to 5 runs

It's pure shenanigans. I got the Hunter arms from my fifth 1150 run, where it's a "rare" drop solo. Didn't have to touch 1180.

2 RepliesFor some reason, I sometimes run these exotic events without any exotics on and I swear I get better or should I say, more exotic drops. Don’t know why, give it a try.
