Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment, the clowns behind the Division games, are announced to be working on an open world Star Wars game...
So... just more generic, soulless cash grabs, but instead of another bland shooter with a Star Wars skin we'll get the standard Ubisoft template with a Star Wars skin.
Great.

I'm still excited...even though it'll be hot cheese.

1 ReplyEA is crap

1 ReplyAll I want is a Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy remaster. I guess that’s too much to ask for.
-
3 RepliesOn the bright side, the gameplay will probably be fun at least. I personally haven't played any of the Division games, but the gameplay I've seen did look fun. And the gadgets in 2 are definitely easily adaptable to Star Wars.

3 RepliesEdited by Mr man 306 n6: 1/15/2021 2:26:08 AMI think it could turn out well. It depends on the type of star wars game they put out, it could be battlefront or fallen order 2.0. or something unique like you play as a bounty hunter

3 RepliesEdited by CoolUsername321: 1/15/2021 2:57:56 AMkinda no more ea??!! Lets hopefully get some new refreshing games
twirls stache
Tbh though I played through division and I disliked it :/

Could be interesting, since I enjoy The Division.
-
1 ReplyLet's just give them a chance.

5 RepliesWho would you like to make a Star Wars game?
-
6 RepliesSo basically it'll either be Assassin's creed: Revenge of the sith or Far Cry: The Phantom Menace.
-
I know it's The Division team that's working on this Star Wsrs game, but I can see the Star Wars IP working very well with the Assassins Creed game design. .

2 RepliesThere’s also a new Indiana Jones game coming out apparently, so it seems Disney are allowing Lucasfilm a reasonable amount of freedom, probably paid EA a bunch of money to bend on their deal. Should be good in the long run even if not in the short, took a while after Disney's acquisition for The Mandalorian to be produced after all. I mean it can’t be as lacklustre as Fallen Order can it?
-
2 RepliesAt least it’s competition in the same title so could make them both better
-
1 ReplyMeh, I disagree to those thinking Ubisoft has been putting out bland, mediocre games and what not. I've liked the newer AC games compared to the originals, RB6S is pretty good as well and I actually prefer it over CoD or battlefield tbh. I'm not a star wars person anyway so really this doesn't effect me to much, haven't played star wars ever since the original battlefront games

I get what you're saying, but I'd totally be down for Star Cry. Give me Far Cry 5, but you have to defend your planet from Imperial/First Order occupation.
-
Another step closer to disappointing game developer choices bingo! Though to be fair, I have hardly touched any Ubisoft games, so I'm only going off their reputation. Who knows, I may even like their games if I tried them, I probably would at least enjoy roaming ancient Greece, but I don't know much about them other than the basics.

ea may suck but their tetris app was better
-
1 Replyor it could be another Watch Dogs 2. who knows. the only consistency ubi has seemingly had lately is being consistently mediocre. it doesn’t look very good when the last half decent ubi game i can name came out half a decade ago
-
Cool, I will slither back into my hole now
-
Finally, an RPG for me, I no longer have to make Fallout 4 into Star Wars...
-
1 ReplyFINALLY! Ea really didn't know how to use their licensing to its fullest.
-
4 RepliesOn the plus side, Ubisoft's latest open world game was actually pretty good and a step away from their usual rehashed trash - it was also received really well.
-
I really hope Ubisoft tries their best to make something fun and unique, because I don’t know how I feel about playing Assassin’s creed with light sabers.

How disappointing. Disney/Lucasfilm always makes the dumbest decisions with Star Wars when it comes to the video games. Ubisoft has had the blandest and most boring open world games for about 6 years now. Calling it now, the box art will look like shit too lol.
