Allo there,
Have you tried clearing your console cache? You can do this by unplugging it for a few mins and trying those actions again.

I havent tried clearing my consoles cache. Ill try that, once i figure out how to do so on a ps4

Simply unplug the power cord for a minute or 2. That's enough to clear the cache
