Transponder disappears if you die
Was about to get my last Braytech Sector augment done until I accidentally killed myself, and now my transponder, the character buff you buy from Variks, is completely gone and I have to wait for another three weeks just to get this triumph. :/
not cool bungie, would prefer that once Splintered is available, this isn’t time gated anymore
Edit: going and finding another Scanner marauder DOESNT work. Because this bug straight up just takes away the transponder you bought from Variks

I just had it this problem this week. Took the augment into Eternity and destroyed the first two sets of drones. On my way to the 3rd set I didn’t clear one of the platforms (burst glide warlock) and fell to my death. Respawned to find the augment gone and the transponder buff gone as well. I’ve tried reloading the zone, logging back in, and waiting for daily reset to try and pick up the augment again but haven’t had any success. Sucks cuz I was supposed to be able to get the Splintered title today and now I have to wait 3 weeks

Hi you can go kill the scanner fallen again and it gives you that buff and you can continue your mission for example if you just shot first group of drones it says "Scanner (bray sectors) x2" OR if you have shot 2 groups of drones and you die( happens to me) it says "Scanner (bray sectors)".

Also happened to me as well. In my case I was on the last drone, killed them, and fell off the map (bumped into teammate) jumping to get to the final terminal. Lost the buff, can't buy it again either. Was my last one I needed for the title too!

Same issue, changed characters, tried every single day but won’t let me grab it. No title for me next week I guess smh!

I am having the same issue. I died on last scanner and the buff went away. I tried logging back in and killing the guy to get the buff back. I can’t complete the triumph

Have you tried restarting Destiny, or clearing your cache? That totally sucks. I remember being mad because Cadmus Ridge wasn't the rotation from last week, and I'd have to wait another week. Even worse since there's a Title attached to it.

the exact same thing happened to me just now, (hence came looking for help). Turns out this has been happening to alot of people since BL launch (after a quick google search). Rip gonna have to wait 3 more weeks as well. :(
