I am having a problem with signing in from a secondary XBox. Here is my setup:
We have two Xboxes. One is our Home XBox (living room) and the other one is located in my office. Normally, my son is using the XBox in the living room and I am using the XBox in my office. We can play any game doing game sharing together or alone on both Xboxes'.
Now, this weekend, I was enjoying the comfort of my living room and asked my son to play from my office. We have done so successfully with many other games before. So, our expectation was that it would work without a problem.
Unfortunately, it didn't work at all. When my son tried to play Destiny 2 in my office, the game informs him that he doesn't have a license for it and that he needs to sign in the license holder. No problem, the XBox OS allows us to sign in from multiple Xboxes' at once. Sadly, Destiny 2 seems to have a different view on this and so I am getting logged out on the Home XBox.
Again, this works just fine the other way round (me being in the office and my son playing in the living room). So, I am guessing that this is a bug.
Is this a known bug? When should be expect to see a solution? Or, maybe, something doesn't get synced properly and it is an XBox OS problem?
Does this work for other people?
Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you!

1 ReplyEdited by GallowsPole: 1/12/2021 7:35:03 PMIt’s not a bug. Only the home xbox can play all your games. The other will not. It works for you, because your profile can sign into any xbox, so you’d be able to play your games anywhere.

You can play any game you own on any xbox. Anyone can play any game you own on your home xbox. There isnt a way around that - if you’re both to play at the same time your son has to use your home xbox.

Is there a way to activate your office xbox as your primary for your account?
