There is so much crap in this game that requires even good players to have a team to get through it. I don't think Bungie realizes that some people just prefer to play alone, even if it's only sometimes. I love playing with my Clan but sometimes I like to just throw some music on and knock some stuff out solo. There's so little to do that's worthwhile that I don't even bother anymore. Almost nothing that gives even decent gear can be run solo because it's all either match made, or it's almost impossible for anyone that's not a try hard. Wathborn hunts and bounties are about it. The higher level lost sectors were a great farm for a while but by the time you get the exotics you want/need you've done them dozens of time and they're just repetitive. Gambit and Crucible without a team you're on headset with is just a nightmare. I got 11 Guardian kills the other day, (9 while the enemy teams primeval was up) and the 3 blueberries couldn't manage to kill our primeveal... Trainwreck, but hey, you HAVE to do it with other people no matter what.... Am I the only one that feel like Bungie needs to stop ignoring people's desire to just play a game solo once in a while? There's a reason people are still playing Skyrim in 2020, and it's not the sweet rolls...

Apart from raids we can try solo everything else and it’s been done by a lot of solo players

There used to be a pretty good balance until they actively took away the ability to solo certain things, like NFS, and turned every boss into a small arena fight. Now they’ve even made patrols less interesting by requiring certain weapons or other unfun conditions.

4 RepliesYeah, you are in the minority. This game is designed for and is more fun when you play with people you know. Don't be a recluse and join a clan of good people. If you find a good group, I guarantee you'll have more fun playing. I mean, sometimes, I like to just do things on my own, but overall, I enjoy playing with other people more. And I'm an extreme introvert!

Destiny has NEVER been a solo game.

2 RepliesDestiny isn’t and has never been like Skyrim. You can play solo, but it’s way more fun with other people. Try it sometime. Lfg isn’t that bad. You can friend me, but I already have many good friends. I can surely squeeze you in to give you a taste of multiplayer fun, maybe even a raid. Good luck man.

4 RepliesDestiny is not meant to be played completely solo, it's an online multiplayer game, you'll always be pushed towards finding a team.

Even though i’m in a Clan, i still play on my own. Squads normally be with blueberries or Friends but for higher levels, i would deal with it myself to get what i want. That becomes more tricky to do when you don’t have Mods like Wrath Of Rasputin, Rage Of The Warmind, or Protective Light plus not having Divinity, Anarchy, or Xenophage for Champion DPS (atleast in Master while being under 1280). I could do 1280 Master Lost Sector but Master Empire Hunts, different story.

I don't mind playing in a fireteam. Heck I don't even mind taking orders in a party chat as long I don't need to plug my mic in. Luckily only the raids I am locked out of because I don't use my mic

8 RepliesBungo designed the game to be played with friends / clan. Soloists get left in the dust. There are quite a few things you can do solo that gives you exotics, pinnacles and generally will challenge you to the core. Try clearing Altars of Sorrows on the moon. It's 7 phases and really really difficult solo. Problem is the loot is crap, but it's a wicked challenge. Saying that if you want end game type of events then you need a fireteam.

6 RepliesIt's only basically 3 activities. Trials Raids Gm nightfall.
