As some of us may remember we asked for a bulk delete feature for shaders in the early days of Destiny 2. We wanted to go and press 1 button to delete a stack of shaders. Bungie proudly delived the feature they claimed was bulk delete to the cryptarch where you can ONLY DELETE 5 AT A TIME. What happens if you have 8 of one shader? Well you can't delete a stack of 3 at the cryptarch. That would be unreasonable. So they add a feature that forces you to go between your inventory and the cryptarch when we wanted to be able to do it in one button in seconds... Not minutes.
We want a feature. Bungie kind of adds it but makes it so backwards it's a joke. Then years later it's in the same state with the same problems.
Now we look at the game today and see things like armour 2.0 having Affinities were they should not exist. Armour with good rolls SHOULD be farmable.
I swear Bungie thinks like this:
Not enough people playing the new content? LET'S MAKE IT THE ONLY CONTENT. Screw the free to play players, gouge them for some money.
We want new and interesting weapons? Make new and interesting weapons? No, they make all you're other ones irrelevant so the new ones are interesting. On that point sunsetting to make new and interesting weapons? No... They just use THE SAME WEAPONS at a higher light level. Why not just make interesting weapons (like this seasons raid gear)?
Pinnacles a problem? Make them seasonal.
Shaders a problem? Add bulk delete. OR even better make them no longer be a consumable
Players are getting sick of your antics Bungie. Please for once, be reasonable with changes to your game. It just all seems like logical decisions and then out of nowhere for no reason you (Bungie) takes the idea 3 steps in the wrong direction. Please Bungie, just actually think about the best way to fix a problem before you try to fix it. I love your game but please implement elegant solutions rather than ones that create more problems.
Hope this is readable I kinda went back and forth on bits when I was writing it.

I think they made something they cant control. Its their Frankenstein. The community has brought their pitchforks and bungie just throws small bandaids at us.

Then have the audacity, to demand it back. IMO, good. It’s a great lesson to learn to pay attention to the details.

I agree. Too much time spent deleting useless stuff. Also would like to auto delete blue drops or don't send to postmaster and bump out my other stuff.

Jesus Christ, CRY MORE!!! Game must be in a better state than most let on if this is what you're choosing to -blam!- about.

Shader deletion can be sidelined. How about fixing the bugs that make aspects of the game impossible to play

If you have enough of a shadder that deleting 5 at a time isn’t enough then it’s a you problem, not the game.
