How many players and twitch/youtubers are you going to lose before you realize you need to add real content to the game?

3 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 1/12/2021 8:55:59 PMLet ‘EM all go. The game doesn’t owe any of them a living....and most of them don’t bring anything of any lasting value to the game.

6 RepliesDatto "quits" every third week. We're 110% better without MTashed And I can't say I know who Hush is.
-
Did Datto finally quit??? If so that the best news I've heard all day! XD

Edited by High Noon at Jötunn Saloon: 1/12/2021 4:45:20 AMDatto will come groveling back just to whine about the next thing in the game. Remmeber in D1 when he helped the community instead of literally batching because the raids because fun/easy enough that people stopped watching his trash and did them themselves. I hope they all stay away.
-
I’ll miss Hush.
-
AS much as I value listening to Datto's opinion pieces. >_> <_< Yeah. I just looked both ways. Nothing is lost.
-
Datto is gone? LETS GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
-
1 ReplySweatcicle is making videos about eating chicken sandwhiches and its doing better than his Destiny videos.
-
7 RepliesI’m not a fan of content creators in anyway... but after reading that twab the game just feels dead to me...
-
2 RepliesIts almost like we are in a pandemic and people cant work in groups at their company. So they cant make as much content as before because they are working alone from laptops at home. I dont get why people dont understand this...
-
Eh, I pay no mind. Not really going to take the opinions from gamers with far less experience with the subject matter than i because I just am past the point in life where others opinions on my hobbies really matter. It’s a job, and you don’t continue to sell from an apple cart with no clientele. You shift to another fruit to sell, so to speak.
-
12 RepliesDatto has “quit” a number of times. Not sure about Mtashd, but since I am not 13 I am pretty sure I’ll get through this.
-
Why don't you worry about yourself instead of these streamers? Any game and I mean any game will not satiate their lifestyle. They sit around 8+ hours a day and consume everything as fast as possible in order to be first at producing their "content". They made their bed and now they must lay in it. Oh well.
-
10 RepliesDatto is probably crying in the shower with his raid jacket.
-
4 RepliesI dont mind if the "content creators" quit the game to be honest. The game shouldnt be disigned for people who can play 12-16 h per day.
-
They couldn't make money off destiny 2 content. They moved on to find profitability somewhere else. Good for them for making a smart choice.
-
They don't care about content creators until they've something to sell. Most of quit, even people like Chevy. Personally I don't watch twitch anymore, I love ekuegan but watching him run grandmasters 24/7 is tiring. Impressions for destiny have dropped massively on YouTube/Google/twitch and are over 50% lower than the same period during SK, and that dropped a lot from the previous year. Personally I unsubbed from most destiny youtubers 6 months ago n the algorithm doesn't push destiny anymore, very rarely does anything pop up on my entire YouTube page, n I get all kinds of random shite. I actually only just remembered Mesa Sean exists lol.

20 RepliesIf dattard leaves it’s worth it. I can’t stand someone that refers to themselves 3rd person.
-
2 RepliesWho are these women you speak of? Never heard of them.
-
Streamers should not be the baseline for the game. However it is symbolic of the games state. It needs significant improvement.
-
Is mtashed playing anything good nowadays?
-
7 RepliesI always find it odd how triggered some people get when they only hear the word "streamer". You can watch their content for free. If you like it, good. If not, also fine. But It's short thinking that some streamers moving to a more profitable (and hopefully entertaining) Game, will not have any impact. Over a million subscribers means that way more people have watched them showing something about Destiny. And you can be sure, not the entire audience were active players. Loosing more than a handful of bigger streamers means less audience, less interest, less showcase. This will add to the bleeding out of Destiny, as much as you may dislike the one or other streamer's attitude. This is not the end of the World but it is also no positive development.
How many players and twitch/youtubers are you going to lose before you realize you need to add real content to the game?
Meh, I couldn’t care less if they leave. The quicker they leave the less whiney crybaby vids of D2 they’ll post.
-
Who cares if they leave. They put 50+ hours a week into the game. Ofcourse they are going to get burned out. And bungie shouldn’t be worried about streamers leaving. they should be worried about us leaving we make up the community not them.
-
3 RepliesYeah but there are new faces popping up🤷♂️

I imagine this... Datto is probably going to tear down all his charts and powerpoint print outs, crying as Ave Maria plays. His makeup running, leaving him standing there in his stockings and raid jacket and crocs (flipped into sport mode). He will be drinking a pint of expired chunky milk, as it spills down onto his 4 weeks old scruffy chin that looks like a brillo pad. Then, he will go into matrix mode again and start doing optimal dps videos in minecraft. Someones pig, cat, creeper or grass has to die. And fast. And datto has you covered!
