3 RepliesGreat article and have said this from the start.D2 is not in a good state at the moment, both pve and pvp...pvp being super unbalanced especially with stasis in the mix and pve being lack of content...now throw sunsetting into all of that and it makes D2 even worse

Yes. ...and that is how every loot game in existence works. Got it in one, Paul.

I don't get sunsetting armor. If they are going to sunset armor then upgrade materials need to be more available. I don't think the ghost mods work at all. For weapons, they need to last more than a year. I'm thinking 2 years would be better. Only have a couple of weapons at the seasonal rank sucks.

1 ReplyEdited by Ares: 1/10/2021 8:03:26 PMWell yeah? It's a sucky situation BUT he says that he (and MANY other content creators and game commentors) were FULLY SUPPORTIVE of gear retirement. Many of us raised these issues last year, prior to the implementation of level caps and were shouted down or ignored by the community. Bungie have stated they WILL NOT be going back on gear retirement so.... Yes i get the point of view. Yes I sympathize. Yes it sucks. It's good that people are finally on the same page. But it's also a slap in the face to all of us who said this is where we'd be and who were told to shut up because we didn't know what we were talking about, when we clearly did. The lack of loot and Bungie's total lack of engagement with its CUSTOMERS (we aren't fans, we're customers) are driving people away in droves and will continue to do so until they begin to talk about things and make changes or the game dies out. It's simple math, Guardian.
