Make full stacks fight full stacks.
title says it all.
Bring back Skill based matchmaking so these sweaty fat dudes can fight in their skill group.
No reason single random should be fighting a full 4-6 team of sweaty no lifes in a casual match.
Makes this a Trials thing to. 3 twma of friends should only vs a full team's of sweats..
Do your thing Bungie.

Why are solos in Banner and not freelance banner? Not talking about teams of 2-3 like actual solos. They're everywhere. That'd help a lot.

Boggles my mind, tbh. Been playing competitive shooters for like 21 years and it's amazing some game companies haven't figured this out. Seriously. Go look at Halo 5 and their use of Trueskill2. It's leagues better than Crucible matchmaking. Its really not difficult. You implement SBMM & a bonus to "skill" when you queue as a group. That way you can still match with PUGs, but those pugs will have a slightly higher average skill level then your group to offset the coordination.

I would like to see people with similar playstyles matched together, though that sounds like it would be incredibly hard to do. What I mean is, those people using stasis, mobility exotics, and shotguns should be matched together, just as bloobs sitting back with snipers or just playing bad or whatever would be matched together. Similar to SBMM, but skill would not be what decides your teams, rather if you use close or long range weapons, your accuracy and usage rate of primaries or specific weapons, and how often you use abilities. This may sound stupid, but I think it would help some people like new players or casual PvPers practice and increase their skill with unfamiliar weapons, like Hand Cannons or Snipers, and potentially learn from more skilled players at the same time. This could be a separate "Training Grounds" game mode which would mostly be for primary or sniper training, as shotgunning doesn't require a lot and has practically no risk, except other shotguns

I have almost a 2.0kd and run stacked quite often, but I used to go to the gym 6 days a week until they closed cuz of covid. Being a sweat doesn't mean you're a "no life", I have a high kd and high win percent, but I work a full time job that involves a lot of travelling and abnormal hours. Getting personal in your insults completely invalidates your argument. The fact its a casual gametype means it shouldn't be sbmm and there should be no reason anyone cares that they lost. You get the same rewards regardless. Trials already matches teams vs teams, not sure what on earth you're even whining about. Go home. You're drunk.

Simple solution to this problem would be to have freelance mode in all pvp modes not just Iron Banner and Survival (Competitive). But bungie wont do that. Too bad Iron Banner will be closed on reset tomorrow.

4 RepliesThere is a few easy solutions. You can either run with a six stack or go play rumble. You can’t just demand the people in teams only get lobbied with other teams, match wait times would be too long. The same with sbmm. You can’t be mad and upset at people who want to play with friends and have fun. The issue is really those people who are ddosing people and those who are using strike packs, Cronus zens and aimbots.
