Reporting cheaters does not work.
Recently ran in to a blatant cheater.
Obvious aimbot.
Infinite abilities
Full auto infinite ammo power weapon not even during power rounds.
Quick look at the game history shows he’s been cheating for two seasons in Comp and trials
Reported him In game, and with the report form
Linked his super sketch profile
Linked the match report
Linked a video of him infinite ammo anarchy killing us off spawn in elimination
He’s still cheating today.
In trials
Multiple games in a row without a body shot kill
Bungie is a bunch of incompetent -blam!-

Couldnt agree more, the game is 5 years of CHARADE OF FPS 80% server CHEATING HARDCORE And BUNGIE is braging how they won some lawsuits vs cheating companies, HALF THE POPULATION IS CHEATING!

1 ReplyThis is old news Cheaters are people too & Bunghole needs every hack it can get. If they ban all the cheaters there would be no one left. Lets say you like a game and people cheat The developer doesn't do anything about it. You get mad and say if you can't beat them... quit the garbage & play something fun or hack it yourself. Everyone likes to hack on a hacker. Most bad games end like this. They will not fix the problem. They just extend or add new delays in EVERY ASPECT to make you stay in longer. I just can't wait to see what they take from me next.

I want some kind of in game notification like siege has. Not saying either is the absolute best at dealing with cheats, but I want to know who has been banned. Also, hot take, pinnacle content should require the most recent expansion (if it doesn’t already) to prevent high end cheating.

There will always be cheating in Destiny 2. Since Bungie's using peer to peer technology, where data goes directly between players, it's near impossible to stop cheaters in the act. Bungie will have to rely on stats, reports, investigation etc. And as long as cheaters can do it at least one match, but usually for some while, the problem will never go away. Had Bungie used dedicated servers, cheating would be much easier to sort out.

Bungie doesn’t care, they have as good a anti-cheat as GTA 5 Their only way at winning is using legal action, how can you have no control in a game you made, just use some money (we know you have tons) and get a proper Anti-Cheat Hell atleast detect when someone has +15 kd Or 100% win rate with less then 30 games played (i say that because you aren’t jus gonna drop into pvp a god teir player especially with current matchmaking) I remember when a cheater was #1 in comp for a solid week

4 RepliesOof, maybe try messaging some content creators? Some of them have ties with Bungie and maybe would send them evidence directly. CammyCakes used to resend info about cheaters to someone at Bungie, if those cheaters had long running accounts or did carries.
