Trials Adept Weapons NEED to be curated god rolls
Just made it to the ol' Lighthouse after beating 3 suspected recov teams and then pounding on some cheaters for flawless to only get a Field Prep/Box Breathing Eye of Sol...
This is a pvp game mode. Why are there literal useless pvp perks available on this weapon?
Adept loot NEEDS to drop as curated pvp god rolls. Just like how it was in D1.
OR
Allow us to turn in tokens to Saint after we have hit flawless for the week to get additional roles of the weapon.
Please Bungie. I love that you guys brought back Adept trials loot but it's gotta be loot actually worth grinding for.

2 RepliesI’m not a pvp enjoyer, hell i don’t even run trials. But i think that implementing on the lighthouse the same system present in the raid, where for 20 tokens you can buy something you already got (both normal versions and adept version if you got it at some point; even armor should be included) would be a great improvement with such a little effort on bungie’s side

6 RepliesTrials weapons shouldn’t be that great. - They are not in the DLC. Free players can get them too - Players can easily get them with router match making cheat - Trials depends too much on good connections - Cheating is too much an issue Trials really isn’t for the best of the best. Even if it was then these players don’t need to get better weapons. You only create an even bigger skill gap. It also brings in more cheaters who really want these weapons.

Of course they will add more weapons in the future, but why go after them when you can get weapons that are better and easier to get than them? Unless you want to flex and show off your trials gear.

6 RepliesBecause Adepts aren't crazy powerful compared to their usual counterparts as is? Get over yourself. The rolls are random. You want your perfect gun? Farm for it. Just like everyone else. Hypersweats in Trials don't deserve special treatment just because they've thrown away their real life for the sake of a half-brained game mode in a PvE-with-optional-PvP video game. Farm or quit.

Really they just need to make celerity intrinsic and add a second mod slot (only for adept mods).

Improving the loot would mostly benefit cheats and recovery services. Given Bungie's laissez faire attitude to cheats, as well as their general ongoing baffling decisions throughout D2, I suspect curated god rolls will be added.

The Scholar (adept) curated = small bore / ricochet / quickdraw / snapshot Summoner (adept) curated = arrowhead brake / extended mag / overflow / dragonfly Eye of Sol (adept) curated = small bore / appended mag / snapshot / box breathing Astral Horizon (adept) curated = small bore / tactical mag / threat detector / elemental capacitor Exiles Curse (adept) curated = corkscrew rifling / liquid coils / field prep / feeding frenzy Tomorrows Answer (adept) curated = volatile launch / black powder / moving target / snapshot Those are the adept curated rolls as found on that .gg website. Not one of those, Not a single one, if i toiled through trials (and i dont), even if i recieved it fully master worked and pre-mod slotted would i gasp in wonderment and say that's it !!! there is my just and deserved reward for the effort required. In almost every roll above, i would be trying NOT to get the curated in hopes i could randomly roll a better version. i used to collect curated rolls, for their ability to be unique and imaginative, innovative, killclip & rampage on the same gun (kindled orchid).. overflow ramp (the original gnawing) .. twilight oath (snapshot box).. the list goes on but slowly dies in sunsets and quality, and i think since beyond light i do not think the curated drop masterwork anymore. i'm no longer a trials player or even a pvp player for that matter (and happily), but i can clearly and definitively see the loot disparity. best of luck though ;)

Adept weapons need to be infusible so the normal version can be adept. Tired of garbage RNG after sweating so hard.....

Not to mention they have an infusion cap? I can't even imagine grinding for an adept weapon just for it to get sunset just after I finally get a good roll. I suck so it took me really really long to get all the basic loot from Trials and it's a massive slap in the face to know all those hours I spent in that horrible game-mode that is very far from fun are going to waste. I feel like I only just got my Summoner god roll and it's going away in a few seasons.

Trials population wouldn’t rise that much even with curated weapons honestly. People like me know our place, and it’s a bad thing to hold onto false hope of going flawless in trials. I’ll never try a single game, as I don’t need severe grief and guilt from destroying my teammates chances for flawless. No possible reward incentive will convince me to try on Xbox.
