Iron banner loot does drop in iron banner. A rare drop, but it does happen. Also, why the hate for iron banner? Feels good, feels competitive but still casual. It fixes the matchmaking because people who play iron banner have likely played the game longer, or actually have interest in pvp. With Freelance, it only makes it better because clans and squads dominate quickplay. So in my eyes, you get: top tier loot, better teammates, and no stacks to worry about. Essentially just a better quickplay that locks out new players that will often do nothing but feed the enemy team super energy. (Well, technically it does not lock them out, but i'm pretty sure being one-shotted because of low light level will deter them.)
