Stop putting purple ships, sparrows, and ghosts in bright engrams

Or at least make it so that if you dismantle a bright engram you get a hundred bright dust.

3 RepliesEdited by Ghostrick: 1/8/2021 8:04:32 AMI think the reward structure for bright engrams should be like this: -Guaranteed pack of Shaders (3 of a single shader) -Guaranteed Rare item (Gift of bright dust, transmat effect, emotes, projection) -Guaranteed Legendary item (transmat effect, emote, projection, ship, sparrow, ghost) -Chance of an Exotic item (emote, ship, sparrow, ghost, ornament) Enable dupe protection on everything as well, until all of a specific rarity has been obtained. I should feel rewarded for getting a Bright Engram especially since it's every FIVE levels after 100 that I obtain one. Which is 500,000 experience... And if you've obtained every rare item, you'd instead get Gifts of Bright Dust guaranteed. Solves the current lack of Bright Dust issue and the problems with Bright Engrams in general. Blizzard did a similar dupe protection thing to loot boxes in Overwatch, and the complaints about their loot boxes are minimal.

Even though this is a joke post, it is pretty damn bad how this game is so bloated with junk loot. I remember before D2 released how Bungie mentioned that they were adding something like 2000+ new items and how excited some of the players were on this forum about it as if they were getting 2000+ new weapons/gear. What they didn't know was Eververse junk loot and a lot of the useless material/ 2tokens and a blue was at least 50% of it 😂 Whoever came up with the idea to flood this game with a mass amount of useless items. Please keep your ideas to yourself, you were absolutely no help to this game at all.

But I love getting sparrows, ships and ghosts from early seasons that look exactly like other sparrows, ships and ghosts I've had, but with slightly different shaders.

There is no difference between legendary and exotic ships. It’s the same thing but different colours. If they made the legendary ships with that yellow background would you get excited? BTW I agree with what you are saying legendary stuff is BS

Remove ghost projections because that's not a reward, also implement a knock out system so I'm not getting the same things i got 2 years ago

So what? So you can get the same exotic ship with a different name again and again and again? Bungie tells you to go visit Eververse if you want something uglier.

Eververse system is just an annoyance at this point. I used to grind D1 so hard for cosmetic stuff. Didnt care if the stats were all over the place. If it looked cool, I wanted it. Now? Opposite. D2 has revolved around eververse since day 1.

Ships are without a doubt the most useless thing in this game. All they do is sit in orbit. Anyone who's ever dropped money on a ship... well, you're an idiot. No other way to say it.

Destiny 1 did things better remember they did that thing with the boxes at eververse they had like ornaments an some iron banner stuff in there forgot how it works but it was a nice system.

1 ReplyI only use the Always On Time sparrow. It’s rightfully way faster than every other sparrow. I mean, look at the name. Seriously, it is literally faster than all sparrows. It’s what I need to be a tool in getting up the stairways to get my grasp of malok faster and die, oh wait.

1 ReplyThose purple "gifts" using the eversame models for ships and sparrows feel to me like the Game is auto generating them by the time I open my engram. So many, just so many. I can't believe there are some I do not have yet. How many ships did Season 2 have? 9.000??

Only ever get reskinned ships and reskinned sparrow the hell is up with the drop rate of exotic ornaments
