Set a Cap on the clears for the Raid Exotic
Saw this with Riven, Scourge, and not DSC... please set a cap on the # of clears with no drop. Idk like 35 or 40 clears guarantee a drop of the raid exotic. Otherwise it gets to be so punishing. The kiosk helped and so did opening up the previous raids to increasing chances up to 50% (before being sunset).
GoS raid exotic being tied to a quest = great and was hoping bungie would stick to that. So if the plan is to stay with RNG raid exotic, set a “clears” cap to reward the dedicated. 👍👍

9 RepliesI would say no but the thing is a piece of garbage. The only reason I want it is for the seal thats it once its in my collections it will be trashed to never be seen again (until rockets get buffed).

Tied to a quest = no reason to go back. I had pleasure running the raids every weeks in order to get the weapon. The pleasure of getting it quickly...or after weeks of raids ! A quest like div : well...do a couple links between encounters....yay take your free exotic..wooh...oh and never come back sir we dont have anything else for you. Hell just thanks to this raid i already completed DSC more than GoS XD

3 RepliesI disagree, and I don't have the rocket launcher OR scout rifle after 3 clears every week. Every failure will make it mean more when the dice finally roll in my favor.

In D1 I didn’t get the Vex Mythoclast until about 5 months into The Taken King, and that was running 3 characters through VoG almost every week from a few weeks after it’s release in vanilla D1. Not having it after a month or so is nothing...

Eyes of Tomorrow just won’t drop for me. And several friends. Every week we clear the raid with no exotic. It is insane how many people I know have still not got it and it is the only thing holding them back from Descendant while others get it first run. Bad luck protection needed.

3 RepliesRiven and scourge both had drop rates at 5% for a entire year before the drop rate was effected/changed. What you are asking for is the "Give me" drop rate they added at a much later date. So what you are asking for is indeed implemented equal to drop rate of anarchy and 1k. Now if you want the ez mode 15% plus a cumulative increased drop rate per clear that again [b]CAME AN ENTIRE YEAR AFTER THEIR INITIAL RELEASE.[/b] So ya got another 350ish days till then.

I am still salty from having to get 67 clears for Anarchy and 49 clears for 1k even when I got my first EoT at 11 clears... it still passes me off. Nothing builds animosity more than watching a guy with 24 clears of SoTP get his 5th Anarchy! I watched 38 Anarchy drop for other people in my 67 clears.
