The one place where Crucible players wanting to discuss and get better at Crucible for years is now closing down.
You’ve finally done it, Bungie. GG.

6 RepliesPetition to close all of Reddit down, all in favor - Do not say I, instead shave your neck beard

As a pvp player let it close. There is nothing competitive about destiny anymore and never will be. It had its run.
-
6 RepliesIts unfortunate that all of Reddit isn't closing down.
-
3 RepliesNever even knew this existed. I'll pour some mountain dew out for it later
-
31 RepliesHey there I have a 3.2 kd and 199k crucible kills top 300 clash player I never even heard of crucible playbook
-
5 RepliesGood hopefully bungie will close down crucible soon.

What the OP says:
The one place where Crucible players wanting to discuss and get better at Crucible for years is now closing down.
What the founder of Crucible playbook says:
There are lots of other places to post about Destiny on Reddit (including PvP), and I think they're well equipped to handle it going forward
its swapped with /cheatersPlaybook

The owner of that sub is an idiot with no truly valid reason to close something still used by thousands. He's bored of the game, doesnt want to see the same kinds of posts and so he doesn't want it to move on without him. Wow.
-
1 ReplySad. Really wish I could understand wtf is going on in the heads of the developers.

5 RepliesEdited by RPColten: 1/9/2021 6:00:12 PMIt's not closing because Bungie didn't make a new map, it's closing because the owner of the subreddit is too far up their own ass to even bother handing ownership to a different moderator, and thinks the best course of action is to literally shut it down in a childish tantrum. r/crucibleplaybook is shutting down because the owner is too self-centered, and other Crucible-focused subreddits will pop up and gain traction to replace it. E: Another Crucible-focused sub popped up with already 1,000 subscribers, so clearly Birds was completely -blaming!- wrong about thinking his precious little sub wasn't sustainable.
-
I mean sure. It's easy to blame Bungo here if you only look at the post and not follow the discussion. Plenty of people still play pvp and want to discuss pvp. Bird just wants to be done. So yeah no.

1 ReplyIt’s not that hard to play crucible anyway. Pull the right trigger to fire your weapon
-
Honestly this isn't really Bungie's fault. If you read the replies to the post it looks like a lot of people actually want the sub to stay open and other subs are popping up in it's place already. This just looks like a case of the owners getting bored of running the sub and instead of passing off the reins to someone else they'd rather just leave and take the entire sub down with them. People tryna turn this into some Bungie/Stasis/PvP hateboner circlejerk thread when in reality that isn't the case at all.

18 RepliesThe only guide you need to know is to just play as a hunter and spam abilities to get kills. You don’t need any other tips or guides. It’s as simple as that.

Meanwhile, at Bungo Headquarters: PvE Sandbox Team cheering - "Die PvP, DIE!!!" Bungo Logic!
-
Well, you don't invest in it. You don't balance it. You don't grow it. You don't weed it. You don't protect it. Infact, you actively ignore it. Vault PvP if this is the best you can offer bungie! Vault it and focus solely on one damn thing.
-
2 RepliesDestiny never was nor will be a competitive shooter and its about time you guys realized that

2 RepliesThe only good thing about Reddit are the circle jerks...

46 RepliesSo when the crucible is at its toughest, the pvp crowd rolls over and gives up. So much for them skillz.

I empathise with pvp community they had alot removed, I don't pvp myself but no more pinnacles weps either I've played in the past but it's not really my thing, I think stasis may be as it is in pvp because of the cheater bs on pc maybe? I have a lot of thoughts on both pvp n pve no need go over them since its been covered
-
And being replaced by other threads. But yes, blame Bungie for everything when clearly this is nothing to do with them personally but a decision taken by a third party.
-
In Bungo's own vision - "It's an evolving world!" Can I say there goes another evolution down the drain?. . . Another one bites the dust! Bungo Logic!
-
You didn’t even read why it was closing down, clearly. There will be 2-3 new subs to take its place. It’s pretty childish to insinuate Bungie has anything to do with it closing down.
