I got banned because I accidentally had cheat engine running in the background
Hey guys,
I recently got banned for having cheat engine running in the background and I didn't cheat at all. I had no malicious intent and didn't do anything on it I just was using it on another game until I opened destiny. Is there anything I can do to repeal my ban? I was a season 1 OG with most items in the game and spent tons of money on it, I bought every DLC and the beyond light deluxe edition and now I can't repurchase the game because of a lack of funds. I feel this was not justified but I guess I can't do anything about it. Is there anything I can do to fix this? please help.

Hmm weird. I have cheat engine on my computer but it never runs when I play. Maybe you should consider that next time if you buy the game again. Rip your 280 hour account

They've told people repeatedly not to have cheat programs open while D2 is running. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you have virtually no chance of having the ban overturned.
