Can't sign-in to D2, the recommended fix failed

For weeks now I've sporadically had sign-in problems, being told that either there's been a change in my profile (there hasn't) or I'm signed-in elsewhere (I'm not). Turning off the PS4 and unplugging it for 6 mins always worked. Until today. No matter how often I do it, I'm permanently unable to sign-in. Do I never play D2 again? Do I have to download the game again? Help!
