⚠️ Don’t waste time doing the Coup de Grace mission, it’s bugged! ⚠️
Title says it all.
The worst part is Bungie is not going to make a fix for at least a week, since that’s how they work. They never drop everything to fix something unless it’s a bug that’s highly beneficial to players.

Tried the mission 5 times last night. Bugged out every time and unable to be completed. I even followed Bungie Help's advice posted on Twitter about slowing down when damaging the boss (used primaries only) as well as waiting a bit before destroying the blight orb to progress the mission. It continued to bug out and I either could not break the orb as it stopped taking damage or the boss would eventually freeze up and never get to the point where he leaves and the orb is available to destroy. I had one time where the boss just stayed there and continued taking damage, albeit very little. Took me quite some time to kill him while he was stuck in place and not moving or attacking (ran out of ammo multiple times), and it STILL didn't progress even after he died. I gave up on the mission entirely until they make it able to be completed.
