Xenoclast SG farm???
Can anyone tell me which activity has the highest chance to drop the shotgun xenoclast upon completing (normal strike; strike play list; nightfall [does the difficulty matter]). Thx in advance.

Oh you mean the Edge Transit shotgun? Just run regular strikes.

1 ReplyI’d recommend just farming playlist strikes rather than nightfalls, especially if the nightfall has a strike specific nightfall drop. If the strike has a specific nightfall drop then there’s an extra potential drop contending with xenoclast. If the nightfall doesn’t have specific loot, we’ll, playlist strikes are just a faster and easier farm anyway. Do you play many strikes? I only do strikes for the weekly milestone and I’ve had more xenoclasts drop than I can recall. I get at least 2 or 3 every week. For what it’s worth, it’s not very good

1 ReplyApparently the ghost perk doesn't seem to have any impact on the chance; I mean I am farming 1 every 10 min and haven't got one in like 3h now. Playn komp just loads me with stars in shadow

I have gotten a ton from just doing strikes. Biggest tip: Get a ghost shell with the prosperity perk in the second to last slot. It increases your chance of double legendary loot (I'd say it's between 30% and 50% to get 2x loot in Strikes).

I have like 3 in bank, and dismantle all i get now. I really do not use it. Could trade all to you if trade option was in this game :)

I've personally seen it drop from the strike playlists with the 3 enegery strike mod on a ghost for double legendary rewards Hope that helps.

1 ReplyLike someone else said, all strikes probably have the same chance. But iirc there is a ghost mod that gives an extra legendary drop when you complete a strike. I could be wrong though. It might help.

I got dozens of them running strikes for essence -
I get quite a few from normal Strike Playlists. That is just me thou. World drops move in mysterious ways.
