Just watch the video. Aztecross explains why so many people are just done with the game.
7:24-7:47 is where he summarizes his main point and nails it.

7 RepliesHow much competition does Destiny have as far as pvp is concerned? A lot. Multiplayer pve? Not as much. So logically, to succeed and be a more unique game, it should eliminate pvp altogether. I hate all pvp games, I just don’t like butting heads. Pvp players go play cod, fortnite, overwatch, whatever. Everyone’s happy because pve gets better hopefully.

2 RepliesContent creators that have featured Destiny on YouTube since D1 are moving on to other games. I know that periodically happens but when a bunch of them all do it at the same time? It's not just that they may be disenchanted with stasis and sunsetting. It's effecting viewership. This one showed the stats: https://youtu.be/iN6kmg_VVOw When players are unsatisfied they lose interest. That's not to say it's permanent. If the next season is a hit, interest will go up. Most recently however, it's on a downward trend.

1 ReplyAztecross doesn't speak for me. No streamer speaks for me.
-
Pvp is feeling ignored, and gonestly it should. Doesnt mean thats where focus should be
-
33 RepliesNo. He gives a self-serving explanation as to why pvp content creators are leaving As I said in the comments. The real elephant in the living room is that the marriage of pvp and pve in Destiny and having to share one sandbox isn’t working. The needs of the two halves are simply incompatible. Bungie is either going to have to separate the sandboxes, or pick one side of the game over the other. Bungie seems to have picked pve.
-
34 RepliesNah it’s because youtubers and streamers asked for cbmm and most of the player base left pvp leaving them to play the sweats again. So now they come out with total horse crap excuses.
-
I AM being ignored. I want them to stop supporting PvP and just go full in on PvE content. They've made clear their intent to not balance the two sandboxes separately. Destiny as a result has too many variables to be a properly balanced game.

9 RepliesEdited by Knox19Delta: 1/6/2021 1:13:52 AMI left for two years. Came back because honestly there’s nothing quality to play. Unless you’re in a simulation game. These Developers have the best shooter in the palm of there hands, and could make trillions but are clueless. I cannot believe after being gone as long as I have, the same gun models and weapons are dropping. It’s the same damn game, and they keep recycling content. Proof: Vault of Glass 2.0.. really? Hire some Quality Engineers for the fan base, and listen to your old fan base.

Bungie ia the dad that goes and gets cigs and never comes back
-
1 ReplyI remember cross still putting out videos during the dark ages of COO, he among a few others like Houndish and Mesa have stuck it out through the content droughts and the dead times If they start quitting then I would worry, but has of now it’s mostly PvP mains that’s quitting
-
11 RepliesAmen,Time to get real all you vets. Bungie knows that the die hard player base is non profitable. l myself have 78000 bright dust. Assolutely no good to eververse !. Stasis is a levelling the field.. Eiher accpt whats coming (probably the entirety of D1) And lets be honest , VOG is probably going to be the best thing to happen to Destiny 2 and thats great and sad in equal measures .
-
Goes back before stasis. The day they announced mountaintop j told all my friends PvP is doomed. It’s a cheese fest now

Edited by Meow Fairy: 1/6/2021 12:41:12 AMyup, destiny 2 appart, the ONE thing that is the most infuriating about bungie...is their behaviour with this community they do not deserve AT ALL. bungie do not want to interact with the community as they KNOW we dont like most of their decisions. the only times they adress information to us is when they have something to sell / or by the holy twab when god bungie decides to give some information to us miserable players once in a while. my friends, my clans mates, and everybody i came across playing this game, is agreeing on oen thing : we love destiny but we truly hate this studio, and none of us woudla ctually buy or play another game from this nacho flavored sh*thole of a studio. i heard about their "matter" project, i talked about it with my clan, and we all were agreeing about NOT BUYING EVER another bungie game. our only hope for destiny is bungie focusing on their future ip and giving the destiny ip to a studio that is at least A BIT concerned by their community. bungie should remember...its destiny that we love...not bungie (aka the studio scamming us with things like selling us both beyond light camapgin and empire hunts, even tough empire hunts ARE THE CAMPAIGN, or exp throttling )

3 RepliesLol destiny content creators will never stop playing destiny. Any time they post anything other than a destiny video it gets like 20% views compared to their destiny videos. Mr fruit is literally the only destiny youtuber who post different games and keeps views . Because he’s actually entertaining. Aztec and the others would have to get real jobs if they tried to upload new games because they are boring. It’s all a bluff to get views.

#RemoveStasis

The whole thing reminds me of D1 after the honeymoon phase, and people were running VoG regularly. There were complaints on complaints on complaints, and that's when the term "were listening" became infamous. We had some decent dialouge with devs during forsaken. Even since christopher Barret went to another project Bungie goes dark until it's time to hype for DLC.
-
Lol PVP is the absolute worst multiplayer I have ever played. I think it is as simple as this group does not know what they are doing and it all starts with their lead. They’re going to have to do something they are losing a lot of players. They may need to get another developer to come in and assist them lol.
-
I don't feel ignored. I do think the game has been ignoring when my bullets hit people lately for some odd reason. Maybe that's because certain people aren't being as ignored as they think they are. Or maybe not. WHO KNOWS!?!?! That's part of the fun.

His voice sounds nasty

17 RepliesWhat's he crying about now, jeez that guy never stops moaning...

Atzecross plays too much. He needs to go outside.
-
What I want to know is who are these “so called content creators” that are leaving Destiny. The ones I watch are in full swing.
-
I dont see how iam being ignored just delete the game if you think that
Aztecross explains why so many people are just done with the game.
No he doesn't.

8 RepliesEdited by High Noon at Jötunn Saloon: 1/5/2021 10:07:13 AMCan anyone summarize the point here? I can't listen to that guy for more than 5 seconds without wanting to scrape my inner ear out with an olive fork.
