Say what you will about stasis, Felwinter's, crimson, etc. I can deal with all that just fine. What I can't deal with is the team stacks in control... The game mode where all you get are 3 rares and the chance for a legendary at the end of a match. There is no incentive to win at all, it is purely for fun.
If you wanna take 6 people into control for casual gameplay, be my guest, I encourage that. If you're taking 6 people into control and make call-outs, team shotting, etc. to force a mercy in 2 minutes, please STOP. I genuinely don't understand why. Obviously I can't force people to play how I want them, that's not my goal. Control is meant to be a casual game mode with next to no strategy except capture and hold zones... why are people bringing trials strategies into control??? If I wanted to have a sweaty crucible experience, I'd go to survival or I would have done trials this weekend!! It's not a matter of winning or losing and it's not a matter of someone being better than me or not. I really don't care if I lose or not.
Just a few minutes ago I went against a 6 stack who team shot and spawn trapped. Everyone else on my team left because they didn't want to deal with that, so I know I'm not alone in thinking this. The very next game... A 6 stack of all arbalests, (I'm on console) not to mention the crazy connection issues that come with 6 stacks. It's seriously annoying to have to fight team shotting and spawn trapping game after game after game.
I've been playing PvP since before Crota's End, I've seen almost every meta, every nerf, and every buff that's happened, but I've never seen anything like this. This is insane, it's so uncommon for me to find a match with only solo-queued players or duos or trios. Bungie shouldn't have to make a freelance control... That's not my point. My point is: stasis and a select few weapons are not ruining crucible, it's the team stacks that are sucking the life, fun, and casualness out of control. It's starting to feel like I'm playing comp and it's really tiring. Does anyone agree with me?

and those clowns thin they are good, while losing more than half of the time lmao imagine them being in premades and losing to randoms how pathetic
-
This just My Opinion first and foremost. If you respond with " Every stack I go against, they're not that good" your Blind and need your eyes checked or your in a stacked team yourself. Yes there are outliers out there who are not good at all but only team up for help against a broken meta. Those i understand but they're are twice as much trolling teams who consider it "Fun" to run over solo plays. I don't know how many times I've 1v1d one of them to win and spend the remaining match with there whole team after me lol. It's very annoying bc of course they're gonna talk and whine to each other in there party chat about a guy who's owning them. It would just be find to chill and play casually without having to pop GFuel and get super serious about a QP match lol lol sorry had to vent lol good day.
-
When I'm solo qued I find I don't really see good players on stacks lol. I primarily see 6 stacks that are all stasis hunters abusing stasis and not shooting.

1 ReplyHere's what you do. 1.Realize that most stacks suck balls at the game. 2. Play stasis 3.Laugh as your braindead .7 kd teammates feed the enemy team super energy 4. When the enemy team starts the super train, throw your stasis tornado 5. End the game with 30+ kills and still lose and look at the best guy after you only got 15 kills 6. Turn this bullshit off and do something else

54 RepliesThat's what happens when you don't allow casual and average players a refuge from CBMM. Sweaties stack up, and then stat-farm your players. It winds up driving average players out of the playlist....and your better playes wind up cannibalizing the game. They destroy the enjoyment of it for everyone else....then walk away and go play something else once they're done destroying it.

32 Replieswhere do people get the idea of casual PvP? if it's people playing against each other the goal will be to win. how they try to win varies, teams, loadouts, playstyles, yet to win is the objective. you say you don't care if you lose, yet the post says otherwise.

It’s like the scrappy neighborhood kids who just want to have fun versus the newcomers who have financially well off parents and are absolute dicks.

22 RepliesEdited by Necrogen: 1/4/2021 5:24:11 PMBruh, this. Is. Every. Shooting. Game. With. PvP. what do you want??? People have friends and clan mates playing together. They want to go in and play the game just like everyone else. You had a bad time of it? Oh well man, expect to lose sometimes. It's okay Concerning this post, What do you want us to do? Please tell us. What you are not going to do is complain and say how things should be so it caters to you and how you do. It's a space magic shooter man. Stacks or no, it's just a videogame.

1 ReplyBut my Thundercrash likes when people play together..

3 RepliesPeople playing as a team in a team game mode? What an abolute shocker, how dare they ruin the game by playing it as it was intended. Yet another friendless noob whining because he doesn't have a few friends to stack with 😂😂
-
I think you’re seeing more stacks this season to break the oppressive lobby balancing, which seems to be turned up compared to previous seasons. As a solo PvP player, this season hasn’t been a good experience at all. It’s not fun having to drop 40+ kills every single match just to have a shot at winning because Bungie puts anchors on my team.
-
The game should put stacks vs stacks. But this complaint has been going on since day one. They don’t care. Try finding some ransoms and deal with the awkwardness of playing with people you don’t know. Destiny is a game where you need friends. You can only do so much as a solo player.

wonder how they can add freelance to IB but not everything else

3 RepliesWhat connection issues that come with 6 stacks?
-
This hits me in my souls I agree

6 stack aka 6 sweaty people playing as hard as possible to win. 6 freinds aka using random shit for fun and having a laugh. 2 very different things.

Edited by Jenn: 1/4/2021 9:59:33 PMMatchmaking is just ass. I play with 4 or 5 people almost every night in control & we just kill everyone on the other team without capturing points so we don’t mercy them quick. Pretty fun for us but it must suck for the other people. We usually always get solo enemies & never other stacks. Makes no sense

Stacks pub stomping ain't going nowhere unfortunately. Just get them bounties done and get out of there. That's what I do

Most people ave stopped enjoying activities also avoiding certain playlist, cause is not player friendly what so ever

I can guarantee if you ever see me in "6 stack" we are definitely not communicating whatsoever, 3 of us are probably wasted or high, 1 is using the most meta tier bs possible, 1 is probably having an aneurysm because the hit detection and lag is beyond frustrating and I'm just trying to do bounties. But I have been in real 6 Stacks and played against them (kd around 2.0+ all around) with everyone acting like they're Seal Team Six and it's almost as annoying as a full team of Stasis Hunters or (Actually Good) Dawnblades using Joutun. The horror.

Edited by BITCOINxMILLIONAIRE: 1/5/2021 1:14:27 PMplay rumble or free Lance comp. Dont be intimidated to play comp, it's not as competitive as you would think

1 ReplyJust got out of a stack myself. I made everyone run the 500 charge time Cartesian coordinate fusion. Still mercied them but was much less broken and more fun.

I wished Control was a casual mode but it isn't. Trials is only on the Weekends and Comp at the moment..who plays it for what reason? If you think, you have the Trial Hardcore players in Control, I would rather disagree. Go try out Trials and see for yourself. Most of the Hardcore Trials players would wipe the floor with the type of stacks you meet in Control. Anyway, face it. There is zero love for both Hardcore OR casual players in the Game. No leagues, no incentives, no matchmaking. Just a big pool for everybody who is still not completely frustrated and still plays some PvP. And you can't blame the stacks for playing together. This is an MMO light. The blame is on Bungie for not providing anything useful for both sides of the coin. They have all the data they need to separate those who make 30-40 kills in Control from those who are below 10. But nothing is ever matched because so few people play it that they would wait forever. I enjoyed doing my weekly 8 bounties casually once but that's long ago. Nowadays it is just a chore to get that one +1 item which is one of the other 4 billion problems of the Game lol.
-
TBH so much of this would be fixed with proper matchmaking and an ELO system, ofc people could smurf then, but now they don't even have to. For a relative new player, and new to fps, getting into pvp is hell.
-
You're meant to bag the stacks.
-
Yes it sucks the fun out of playing the valor playlist. Rumble is the only mode worth playing anymore. These tryhard meta scrubs that make stacks just to ruin the valor playlist are cancer to the game mode. kids with ego issues or otherwise with nothing better to do
