Where is legacy content WTF
Hi All
I just purchased Destiny 2 legendary edition for 51$ plus tax. I use to play Destiny 1 non stop on playstation and loved it. Now I want to get back into it! So I started Destiny 2 and the way it begins as of Dec 2020 is same as destiny 1. KK no problem. After digging around I found out that you need to talk to Amanda to access legacy. Turns out that as of DEC 2020 all legacy content has been removed. So my question is WTF?
What did I exactly paid for?
Beyond light is 30 bucks
Did I just got scammed of 20$?
The description of the legendary edition clearly states that it includes base game plus all expansions and yet I cant play non of the expansions nor base game?
This is new lvl of bs. Destiny 1 had issues but this is new level.

Legacy content which has been vaulted at the release of beyond light being the red war campaign (D2 base game at release) and the first 2 expansions. All of this is not included in the legendary edition or is accessible for anyone since it's being vaulted.

The campaigns of year one have disappeared, those of year two and three are in the tower next to administration but it is not worth it because they will not give you absolutely anything, if you want to find out the story there are videos on YouTube, when I say nothing is that the weapons of these expansions are useless except in the crucible and seeing how the pvp is .....

You can play though the Forsaken and Shadowkeep campaigns if you go to your quest archive in the Tower I think. However, all of the loot will be capped at 1060 I think. So you can play those campaigns but the actual loot will be completely worthless towards your actual progression. Apathy for this game seems to be the thing the community is feeling rn. Which is sad bc I do really want to love it as much as D1. I guess thst wont happen tho...

You might have to pick up the forsaken and shadowkeep campaigns from the quest kiosk to the left of the post master at the tower.

Shame you're not on Xbox. You could of got all dlcs through gamepass for no extra cost. Destiny isn't worth the money to be honest. Season passes are the only money I'll spend on this game these days
