Why you did this for outlaw and not Kill Clip baffles me
-
It actually used to do that but as people have said they probably nerfed it for Crucible. Because I remember I rocked a Lonesome with Zen Moment Kill Clip and the thing could keep resetting Kill Clip after each kill and reload. What also supports this is also the suprising lack of Rampage on weapons good for PvP. The fact they removed True Prophecy from the loot pool recently just because it could drop with Rampage being a big example. But the Kill Clip nerf happened right before Beyond Light at the start of Season of Arrivals? If I remember correctly.

2 RepliesIt's probably for crucible. Imagine chaining 30% damage buff kills between targets. Rampage at least starts on a smaller value. For pve...probably the same reasoning. Would give little purpose to using things like rampage or swashbuckler.

I would rather see "Kill Clip" reworked so it functions like the name suggests: giving a (slight) damage buff to every round in your next magazine when reloading after a kill with no timer.
-
Subsistence/Rampage with a Rampage spec FTW!!!! But man is she hungry...
-
When it was a 50% damage buff I understand
-
It should proc on every kill
-
Why buff killclip when you can just slowly delete it from the game?
-
That's what Multikill Clip is for
-
Because there is the trade-off for the perk. Timing is part of it.
-
Multi kill clip.
-
It’s how you should be but people have been saying the same back into Destiny 1 and they did nothing then so why would Bungie change it now?

14 RepliesOne of the reasons I don't touch kill clip even though the communtiy used to collectively foam their mouths for it. It's just so jank and encourages you to get into a rythm of not your choice. I like jank, but Kill Clip is on another level.
-
Intended to not let you keep a 33% buff constantly without a little bit of timing. It’s really not that big a deal. It will also invalidate the draw of multi kill clip that lets you refresh instantly based on the number of kills you get.
-
Eh I feel like that would undermine the usefulness of multikill clip, which does refresh after every kill and reload. If both perks did this you would almost always want regular kill clip, as it gives a bigger initial damage boost for a single kill in comparison to multiple kills for multi. Then again, having two separate kill clip style perks with little difference is also pretty dumb too so 🤷♂️

4 RepliesFor now, you'll just have to time your reloads. Yeah, it'd be great if it did. I don't know the damage buff granted by Kill Clip, but if it's higher than or is at Rampage x3 at 15%, then I suppose it makes sense why it is balanced the way it is.
