Some of your strikes are really complicated. Glassway has multiple waves of enemies and a long walk to the boss room. The timer is the same. Either give us 45 mins to pass the encounter at 1300 or at least look at each individual strike. It seems like you base everything off lake of shadows and not reality. If you think 30 mins is fair, I challenge dmg or cozmo or anyone else at Bungie to hop on a PS4 and live stream it and show us how to get it done with time to spare.

3 RepliesI hate timers. They are the lazy way of making content "hard"

1 ReplyDmg has mentioned he's looking into it.
Honestly, don't know if this was intentional. Sending off an email to double check. May take a bit to get an answer as we're in a holiday period.
https://twitter.com/A_dmg04/status/1344128809260355585 As someone who's done all the GM's at this point, I agree that I personally think something needs to give with the timing. We ended up getting to boss room at 15 minutes even, and just broke our clear with 36 minutes, and those last 6 minutes were a little too cautious, even for GM. Scarlett Keep will be interesting, as that is the longest NF strike in the game and the boss room isn't very forgiving. Either way, looking forward to see what happens.

17 RepliesEdited by Kouz_MC: 12/31/2020 8:14:39 AMThey base everything off of PC. Bungie don’t care about 70% of their player base anymore. This game is just ridiculously easy on PC, that’s why all streamers went to it. They can’t afford to look goofy on consoles compared to pc ones. SMG everything at 100m range, pvp is 120s only because, hey, can’t miss. I find it actually so boring to watch or play pve or pvp on pc. It feels like a game designed for brain dead scrubs with no skills.
-
That's just it. They are watching the streamer and how they use the exploits and one pass Raid boss kills So they are like... Well, 30 minutes is fair then.
-
The timer ruins it for me. Got to boss room with 120,000 ish then by time boss was close to dieing we was just under 100,000 so we didn’t even finish it.
-
1 ReplyWhen did they drop it to 30? This season? They used to be 45 mins.
-
Bungie has proven in every live stream they have ever done they can't play the game they made worth a damn. They die doing patrol.
-
18 RepliesI thought they left timer off grandmaster? There goes my incentive to play that I guess. I loved soloing the old. nightfalls in D1. taking it slow, occasionally spending hours in there, getting frustrated with myself on a restart, and the sense of accomplishment in getting the weekly loot at the end. Hate the addition of timers, micromanaging my gameplay.

Man there’s no way my trash self has a chance!

28 RepliesWe get to the boss in 16min plenty of time left. Also double sniper resist does wonders.
-
The people playing that GM are sadists. Respect

1 ReplyEdited by bdonnyq: 12/31/2020 3:12:29 AMI think you just exposed how you have been wasting your time.... Just go purchase a paid carry.
-
1 ReplyWay too quick, quick enough for people to not even care about doing it.
-
2 RepliesDidn’t Cozmo retire?
-
All GMs should be on minimum 45 minute timer.
-
4 RepliesThe fact is not all Nightfalls are the same in length. So the timer should be different with each. It's like giving someone an oil filter for camaro expecting it to fit on a audi.
-
Basically every nightfall strike suffers from this. Not every strike is as long as the next. A good example is Exodus Crash which has you traversing trough two different patrol area's but at the same time one of those area's doesn't award points but time still keeps running. So you're automatically penalized because Bungie's creative team didn't know how to design the strike properly.
-
2 RepliesThe timers should be a function of fireteam size. Three people should be able to complete it faster than one so their timer should be shorter
-
2 RepliesAnd while we are talking timers....how bout NOT starting the timer on ANY nightfall UNTIL the score starts to actually MOVE!!!
-
7 RepliesIts bugged, DMG said on twitter
-
4 RepliesGet gud.
-
2 RepliesGonna call it now ; The time will be extended near the end of the season when you can choose the GM nightfall.
-
3 RepliesExodus Crash was easy in 30 minutes, but Glassway is going to be absolutely insane. Not looking forward to it!
-
1 ReplyThis and the corrupted take forever to complete as regular strikes
-
1 ReplyCan’t wait till next season where adept strike weapons come out with random rolls for grandmaster. Like that’s not going to be annoying.
-
44 RepliesWe did last week's in 18 minutes and change. We got the boss for this week's at about 19 minutes and completed it today. Git gud.
