When are you doing your GM's Luke?
Edit: Seriously -blam!- Wyverns, that is all.
Edit 2: We beat the GM, Wyverns still suck though.
Edit 3: Some people seem to think that Wyverns require some "talent" and a "special plan" to kill them. (Weird what gives you an ego, isn't it? lol)
We literally laugh in their face and roll right over them in 1280s. Basically, I'm complaining more about GMs rather than Wyverns.
Gotta love artificial difficulty ;)

That GM boss room is definitely in a class of its own. Possibly the hardest end game activity since prestige spire?

Yeah we tried the GM NF and had to settle for the Master. Even that the Wyverns were OP. They’re bullet sponges unless you stun them to shot their crit.

Just wait for Luke Smithers to give you some champion wyverns in the VoG that only shares name with the old VoG as similarity. 💕

The weapons they use are basically vex styled shotgun projectiles, which means that instead of a classic cone, the actual projectile itself splits and gets bigger, yet is slow and easy to evade on mid range. Fair enough to prevent campy playstyles and to finally make people actually work for something. Anyways, stun them with grenade launcher flash bangs, use the stun nade from the Titan Arc focus, freeze them with Stasis, use the titan wall, bubble shield, the game has plenty of options to deal with them... Don't use a sword or shotgun unless you interrupted them first. Stay away and retreat.

My advice is to have a dedicated blinding nades truthteller to keep the incapacitated.

For a red bar they are kinda overpowered bullet sponges. If they are going to make them that strong, at least label them as so with a yellow bar or reduce the health some at least in lost sectors. Wyverns take up the most time over any champion just trying to kill them. I use high caliber rounds on them which helps to work them down. Freezingthem they break out instantly so pointless and immediately stomp when trying to use sword. They are just straight up @ssholes. Give me an overload captain anyday over these stupid mechanical turkeys.

It gives you like an overshield when your shields have been destroyed. It has saved me countless times against majors / bosses / nightmares / Overloads etc etc

Put void damage resistance on your chest. It's literally a life saver.

Few sword swipes and they're down. I like to use Temptation's Hook against them. Hit them with the projectile attack and rush them with a some light attacks. Been taking them out in the nightfall this way.

Besides, figure out how to take them out. Divinity + a few sniper rounds. 2 Black Talon swings. Anarchy and Run is probably the predominant strat for most players.

Because light level means nothing. You can still get killed my dregs in the EDZ. The levelling system is non-existent.

Yeah sadly difficultly in destiny is an enemies that one hits you or just spam abilities(taken). Really you can’t defend some enemies and what bungie were thinking, I know they’re out of ideas but maybe make an enemy that’s more than just a bullet sponge?

7 RepliesI mean, people have been complaining about the AI being to easy to combat for what seems like forever. So now we have those and teleporting champion captains. Lol I'd like a new race of enemy personally.
