Sorry guys, but even at $30 this DLC is over priced. This is a $20 expansion.
After several missions in, I'm already bored. I've been playing Destiny since 2015, and I have done all this before. It's mostly the same old enemies, with a few modified one's showing up. These missions play out the same as any other.
I should have waited for the price to drop to $20. Ugh.

I got the season pass but leveling up is so damn slow. Smh Beyond Light is 40 bucks. Not spending that on it at all. Forsaken was the last expansion I thoroughly enjoyed, played start to finish.

4 RepliesI took a season off and came back for beyond light and I like it so far.
-
4 RepliesTbh Destiny 2 makes Fallout 76 look like a better game.

Also played with that idea, but for gods sake my brain said no. Totally agree that BL overprized, especially if you dont raid. I mean I could buy it for stasis, but why? The classes gonna get nerfed anyways, and then I just spent 30€ for nothing.
-
1 ReplyBut why? Cost is 1$ on gamepass xD

1 ReplyDo the raid. You’ll feel better

14 Replies*specifies they're only a couple of missions in* *complains it's already not worth $20* If you can't see the flaw in that then you're too far gone. To make it clear, maybe experience everything you've paid for FIRST before you come to a stupid conclusion an hour in roughly. Another quick tip, it's been out for almost 2 months, surely you would know by now what you're paying for?
-
2 RepliesBuddy even if it was free you'd still complain about it. The price point isn't what was stopping you from enjoying the content. It's just your excuse to try it and justify your fit afterwords.
-
2 RepliesI still haven't bought it!

1 ReplyEdited by TheArtist: 12/30/2020 7:36:32 PMIf you’re that bored that quickly, you simply don’t like the game anymore. Giving you **more** wouldn’t have made you enjoy it.
-
The only time Beyond Light is worth your money is when it's free.
-
1 ReplyI regret buying it.

3 RepliesEdited by Necrogen: 12/30/2020 12:55:56 PMWhat would it matter if the price drops to $20 or even $10? You just said you played several missions in and you got bored. The common denominator is that you are bored with the game so it doesn't matter what price it is. I tend to not believe these posts anyway because you understand that the game is free to play and you could have tried it out before you bought it. What is your point here?

The deluxe version went on sale a few weeks ago and I bought it. I was away from D2 playing other video games such as Tales of Vesperia, Ghost of Tsushima, Hades, Demon’s Souls, Godfall (that game needs some improvement btw) for 8 months. It’s good to take a break from Destiny once in a while. Feels a lot better when you return!

1 Replyeh destiny hasn’t really ever had a cool story to me imo. modders in skyrim can come up with a better story.
-
1 ReplyBeyond lite just feels like a tutorial for using stasis, I don't understand how people think it's a good story . Even the voice actors in the game sound bored during the campaign
-
1 ReplyYou should request a refund😏

Thats what destiny is, just familiar content re used or re issued at a later date, there ain't any getting around that, it's a game as a service. I got bored and left a while back, I'm hoping one day they come good but the way Id like the game to go would.make a better game but probably less money, so bungie no likey.

1 ReplyI agree that beyond light is a little expensive for the content offered, but I feel like it’s main issues lie in the core activities, and not the campaign itself. I bought whichever addition comes with all 4 seasons in year 4 back when preorders went live, and I have gotten a couple of days of play time out of the dlc so far. The highlights of which were definitely the raid which was easy, but I absolutely loved it, and messing around with the new stasis supers. However, whether or not the expansion is worth it largely depends on why you bought it, because I view destiny as a kind of yearly subscription service, and I personally pay for it for the experiences that I’m able to have with my friends. So I feel like beyond light can be worth it, but the asking price is a little high if you’re just going to do some missions, and get bored, so I understand why you’re upset about it.

1 ReplyThe campaign for Beyond Light is just the beginning, there are still Empire Hunts, weapon quests, unlocking Stasis upgrades through the Born in Darkness quest, Legend and Master Lost Sectors, and so on.
-
You right, don't even listen to the bungie shills. At this point,I'm halfway convinced they are bots.

1 ReplyExactly why you should have waited for 50%off

Same however I didn’t have the money before

10 RepliesIt is way overpriced. They want me to pay $115, & after the stingy sale it’s still $90. That’s why I’m hesitant to fall into the scam, even though I promised myself I would only get beyond light if it’s on sale, simply out of principle of giving Bungie less money than they want, & I know how much they value every dollar.
