Creating a Esport tournament for Destiny
I hope the staff of bungie reads this
is there a plan on making the competitive mode be in a big tournaments?
if there is can there be a local tournament for each country who plays Destiny?
I love playing Destiny and I also like Esports

1 ReplyThey tried to push this in 2017 by making all weapons static rolls, slower movement and abilities, and making all pvp 4v4. It was a horrible failure as most fans of the franchise did not enjoy these things. The playerbase dropped off a cliff and it was all reversed with the release of forsaken.

Unfortunately this game just wasn't built to be an esport. Better to enjoy it for the arcade arena ability-shooter it is. There're some third party communities dedicated for organizing private games with custom rulesets if that sounds like something for you. Bungo 'official' organized tourneys just realistically wont ever happen but that exists as an alternative.

Destiny pvp doesn't make the cut for something like esports and since the change to connection based it's only fallen lower it wouldn't be worth the time.

For starters, wrong sub forum. Second, I don’t think it’s the developers that organize tournaments. And I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Destiny’s PvP isn’t exactly conducive to that kind of competitive play.
