What exactly is "Soulfire"?
Do the Thorn and Necrotic Grips use Soulfire?
Could it be used for a Decay or corruption subclass?

3 RepliesThorn and Necro Grips use “Corruption”,which I think will be the witch queen subclass The only hive I have seen use soul fire is Nokris ,so maybe it has something to do with necromancy

Soulfire is the solar shit the hive use. Acolytes can throw Soulfire grenades and I belive nokris's main attack was Soulfire.

11 RepliesThat is what is gonna happen. Think about it. Three new Darkness Expansions, three new Darkness Subclasses. BL: Stasis, ice, icy planet. The Witch Queen: Decay, Soulfire, Death. Hive magic. Hive expansion. Lightfall: Pure Darkness. Blight energy. The last and final expansion all about the Darkness.

The only way Hive Magic would work is to have it belong to a new category of subclasses which would include Ahamkara magic and Psionic power because Hive Magic isnt Darkness it comes from worms which were made from the Gardener and Winnower fighting and indirectly creating all future life forms.

An yes it’s the ice element everyone asked for so long ago but they couldn’t just call it frost or ice so they called it stasis. But to many players refuse to see it that way.

7 RepliesSoulfire is what is generated when a being (likely hive) practices sword logic and kills something. What the worms eat. Thorn and Bad Juju use the sword logic. Thorn is a weapon of sorrow, not to sure about Bad Juju. But they grow stronger by killing and using the sword logic and to feedoff souls or light. The only other weapons of sorrow are Necrochasm and Touch of Malice. The thorn we use isn't the real thing. So it's a weapon that won't feed off the light and is just a handcannon that creates pickups after a kill and simulates a similar experience to the real thing. Only Dredgen Yor had the real thing. Bad JuJu used actual souls to make it during the ascendent realm mission. I don't know if perks like rampage or kill clip use the light in us to become stronger when we get a kill. They wouldn't be able to proc the perks if a non light being used them.
