Legend and Master Lost Sectors are not fun
Between Champions not staggering or giving lives when killed and rewards only dropping if you do them solo this kind of content fails at being rewarding, fun, or worth my time. I am just trying to get one done on Master Rank for the Splintered Title, after that I will not do them unless they get an update.

I just want the Telesto catalyst. I hate barrier champions. I just looked round a corner and some residual fire from him killed me! The fork?! And that locking weapons and gear is just plain childish. How does it hurt Bumbie profits if I change my pants?

1 ReplyI think their fun but the chance of getting Exotics could be raised a tad bit... A few nights ago I was running the 1250 Lost Sectors because I wanted to get some new and possibly better Peacekeepers. Out of the 20 or so I did I only got 2 Exotics...

Doing them solo for a chance to earn exotic gear is one of the very few things Bungo has gotten right recently to be fair.

1 ReplyI really like the lost sectors. It’s fun having a high level pve activity that is actually intended to be soloed, and gives at least a semi-targeted way to farm exotics. At least as of the last time I tried it though, I think they need to increase the exotic drop rate for Master LS.

The solo run I don't see as a problem as it offers a challenge and it also serves as a good way to farm specific exotic armor. That said, I hate the fact that the new exotics must first be obtained from these places before dropping in the normal lootpool, and there are no other decent rewards beyond those. I have yet to do Master's due to light level, but from what' I've gathered it seems that Legendary lost sectors are more likely to give out better rewards. Also, the champion system is still flawed and hasn't been addressed at all since their introduction. I don't blame this on the lost sectors so much as Bungie's quarter-baked management.

well they are ok for getting the new exotics first time but i don't see any point of farming those for stats.

1 ReplyDid a 1250 one and got an enhancement core, lame. Tried 1280 while at 1279 and ran out of time, lame. I did get one helmet that i didn't have so that's good, but other than being different not really pumped about it, only 3 weapons work, pulse, scout and sword. Tried others but no go for me.

I actually think they are some of the best additions to the game in Beyond Light. A challenging solo exotic farm? The stuff of dreams. Or would you rather the loot just be hand delivered to you on a plush cushion whilst you sip Dom Perignon in a hot tub?

11 RepliesLegendary lost sectors are dog shit. The fact that you have to solo them to get this new armor is even worse. If the losers that find this stuff fun wanna do it, that's fine, but don't lock an item behind it.
