Is there a way to claim rewards from the previous season pass?

You can use [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Seasons/Progress]this link[/url] to see your current season pass status and if you click the "previous season" tab on the top you can see and claim items from one season back. I don't think there's any way of seeing stuff from over one season ago.
