It’s just a chore doing it and a chore, at times, getting people who will stay the distance.
My heart sinks everytime I get in the playlist.
But oh no, you had to get rid of much better strikes than this one!

My god, please sunset it. Yes. It was a good strike when it launched. It's still a good strike. That doesn't mean it's good repeatable content. It is actually probably among the worst repeatable content in the game. At this point, I would pull for it to be outright deleted if it meant I never had to see it again.
-
4 RepliesId say its actually one of the best strikes in the game. It has the best setting, most interesting encounters, and a nice mechanic. Problem is, it's so dam long. If it weren't so long, there would be nothing wrong with it. Its just strange cause when the strike came out, everyone loved it. And now everyone hates it. The length is the only explanation I can give.
-
Yup, I agree. I like this strike, but I've done it enough. I'm doing most strikes now for other reasons, like bounties, Bright Dust, etc. No reason to do this long strike when I get identical rewards from much shorter ones. So yes, when I load into this strike, I immediately leave it now. I used to feel guilty about that, but then I realized everyone should probably bail on this strike. Maybe Bungie will get the message, especially since they like to sunset things they think players are using much.
-
1 ReplyWe have no strike content and you want this dropped? Aye! It’s actually one of the better strikes - in many ways it’s like a mini raid. Problem is people go into strikes for quick loot and this isn’t quick. Increase the loot to double abd make it count as 2 strikes and I guarantee no one will drop out if it... Let’s not sunset anything else ok? There will be no game left!
-
5 RepliesOr strikes that long like corrupted is about as long as 2 and half normal strikes should drop double rewards
-
1 ReplyOr just have a small chance to have a great unique legendary weapon drop from it. Would make the chore worth it.
-
It’s actually a great strike, just terrible if you are trying to quickly grind them.
-
1 ReplyI don’t know if I hate the Corrupted or not. I groan every time it loads. I want to leave, but I never do. I’ll die several times while doing it (in the stupidest ways). But, I think I’d be sad if it left. I miss the old, vaulted, strikes. I’d like to see a larger strike playlist: not a smaller one.
-
Corrupted isn't my favorite but I'll take it 10 times out of 10 over either Exodus Crash or The Fanatic strike on the Tangled Shore. (whatever that's called). I find the boss mechanics in those 2 strikes even more annoying than Sedia. I laughed when I joined Exodus Crash once and as I was contemplating whether or not to quit, one of the other guys quit before me. That made it an easy to call to back out. I've been in Exodus Crash with AFK players seemingly more often than other strikes.
-
1 ReplyI actually really like the corrupted strike, however a lot of people don’t “like it”, because it’s a facet of bungie’s lack of attention to the playlist that people don’t like and they back out. As of current the point of the playlist is to speedrun the thing at Mach 4 and get more kills then the blueberrys so you can complete bounties. And both corrupted and warden of nothing a long engaging strikes.
-
10 RepliesHow about the fact that for 2 weeks now (maybe 3, wasn't paying attention), Zavala's weekly bounties have been 150 Vex kills and a Vex boss kill, and there are NO Vex only strikes, only ones with sections of Vex that require you to do them at least 3 times to do the bounty. I normally average 100+ kills a strike because I go ham, but now it's impossible to attempt to finish the kills in 1 strike. I wouldn't be upset if it wasn't multiple weeks in a row with the same bounty, but then again it's not that big of a deal to me

5 RepliesThe long-standing bugs are embarrassing - definite Buggie features. And the lack of properly explaining the mechanics to people is another staple. Like how many times do you happen on blueberries who will catch the charges? Once in four or five runs? Makes you despair for the future of humanity. (And crush any hope for raid matchmaking. *) On one run I had a two person blueberry fireteam. They played like fairly new Destiny players (fair number of deaths etc.). We failed the boss fight some six or seven times. I was quite impressed that those two didn’t bail on the strike. They must have felt elated when we finally beat it! (I haven’t had too many truly happy experiences in strikes in looong times. But maybe that was definitely one such experience.) * Raid matchmaking could work if there was a training / explanation layer on raids. (I.e. written explanations shown to people. Not flashed in footer of the screen just once either.) That would become available after three-four weeks after the launch of any new raids. (Like the game shouldn’t hold such things as “secrets” - same with e.g. public event heroic triggers etc..) Also there should be better emotes (and multi-level triggers for them) to signal raid mechanics.

4 RepliesGotta love the out of nowhere blast that pushes you off the platform. I've been hit by that thing even when I'm paying attention and looking out for it, while quite a distance from the boss. Really lame mechanic.
-
1 ReplyEasy strike, don’t see what takes y’all so long.
-
3 RepliesI always back out of this one now. No thanks. Im here for a quick bounty or pinnacle. Not this garbage. Ive always hated this strike.
-
Bump. It’s played out and a waste of time. As beautiful as it can be, it’s equally annoying or worse. Bring back Pyramidion and Garden world.
-
1 ReplyEyeofSet You make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

100% AGREED!!!!
-
I do enjoy the dreaming city location, as there is little reason to go there outside of this strike. But apart from that, yeah, its hard to find fireteam members who will stay till the end.
-
The Corrupted is probably the best strike currently in the game. It has legit encounters, platforming, and a boss fight that goes through two different arenas. Every Y1 strike BTFO.
-
I wish all strikes were about as long as this one. Luckily the 2 returning ones next season are on the longer side.
-
3 RepliesGo away, it's one of the best strikes.
-
2 RepliesIt's one of the best strike in the game, this community is insane.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Kouz_MC: 12/25/2020 9:01:26 AMThen sunset exodus crash, broodhold, kargen, glassway... as well. Bc I’m leaving these ones. The corrupted is actually an easy strike to rush in 9min: Kill taken centurion, skip to elevator where we don’t need to charge the orbs anymore, then kill two ogres, then rush all the way to boss skipping platforms where wanted enemy is and jumping straight down, grab orb, hit boss and super+heavy it, go to ascendant realm, rush to last platform, grab orb, heavy weapon it (the other two players will most probably be able to use their super since they didn’t even have the time during first encounter). Oh and leave lake of shadows as well. That 6min run is welcome.
-
I'd agree if it weren't for the fact that it's the only strike in the dreaming city. It's my favorite location Bungie has ever made for either destiny game.
-
2 RepliesThey just kept bosses you cant one phase or that take ages to clear because yet again theres no content, just waiting for events for the mad loot, wait nvm same loot as last years EXACT same event.
