Just would be nice to not have to play pvp for a pinnacle reward
-
Bungie has got to separate these sandboxes
-
6 RepliesYou don't HAVE to play for that Pinnacle reward. Similarly, you don't HAVE to play Strikes/Nightfalls, or anything in the game. I completely ignore Gambit and its weekly bounties, even for the +1 Pinnacle. It's just not worth the hassle.
-
They need to. I was doing some Prophecy runs and Moutaintop has gotten hit pretty hard for PvE content. The in air accuracy is highly inconsistent due to how powerful it was was in the right hands in PvP.
-
Lol then dont play PvP for the 1 pinnacle reward and do the other PvE activities for pinnacles?
-
3 RepliesSo then PvP players will be forced to play PvE? There’s ONE pinnacle reward in PvP. Not counting the Lighthouse. There’s like 5-6 in PvE.
-
Then don’t? It’s your choice.
-
2 RepliesIf it takes power level out of pvp and balances it more than I want this.
-
1 ReplyYou don't HAVE to play anything for a pinnacle reward. It's all choice. I personally HATE the new iteration of Gambit, and refuse to subject myself to the pain and suffering. Losing one pinnacle reward out of 8 or so isn't really a big deal. Especially a +1.
-
14 RepliesI agree, but my twist would be that no pvp guns or armor can be used in pve. Then see who is a real pvp then.same for pve keep the type of play desperate. 👍😎
-
2 RepliesThey are separated? I gave up on PVP myself since I don’t enjoy it. Did go back to do the Witherhoard catalyst last season.
-
The pinnacle is a +1 You don’t need it. In fact you don’t have to play pvp ever.
-
If you want all of the guns... play all of the game...

Edited by illz: 12/23/2020 11:25:15 AMPlease understand destiny is pvp and pve. Doesnt matter what you like, its been this way for 6 years. If you dont want to experience destiny as it is then thats on you. If you cant stomach 3 pvp matches for 1 pinnacle then i dont know what to tell you. Bungie is holding hands and helping everybody. We come from a place where only raids and banner would drop pinnacle. People still complain LOL
-
They are. The only hybrid format is gambit.
-
4 RepliesUmm, pvp also relies on power. Iron Banner? So no, pvp needs a part in the power progression system.
-
You dont even need to do the Crucible one if you dont want to. There's other avenues to get pinnacles to the point you can safely ignore PvP and still get good progress.
-
There's a ton don't require pvp, just do those. Even if you do the crucible one, it's 3 games. It's really not that bad.
